Enjoyed that you were right in the Black Hills. Road was narrow, and parking in front of home was tight, with some cars on a slanted drive, but we did get 4 vehicles parked, so all was good.
Was perfect location - just blocks from the mountain. Plenty of room for 3 families with kids ranging from 2-12. Parking for 3 vehicles was sufficient but any more would have to park off site. Property was clean and had everything we needed.
This property was amazing! We loved the view! They were definitely right about parking being tight. Our bed was a little hard. But overall I would definitely recommend and would come back!
Our large family stayed at this house for our annual Terry Peak weekend. The drive to Terry Peak is short, easy for transporting a lot of skiers coming and going at different times. Each of four couples or families had a bedroom, with another bedroom for many cousins. The kitchen is big enough and equipped well to cook for the group. Thank you for providing a comfortable spot for our getaway!
We had a family group of 26 stay. Lots of sleeping space for everyone. Managed to park 7 vehicles, all SUVs or bigger, in the driveway with a little bit of skill. It's a bit out of the way but still close enough to town to not be a huge inconvenience. Very well stocked to accomodate a large group. Happy with our experience!
Everything was great about the property to include location, details, check in, cleanliness except for the beds. The beds were very uncomfortable most of the adults in our party either slept on a couch or in a child’s bunk bed as the adult beds were very uncomfortable.
Had a wonderful family time at this beautiful home. We had 8 adults and 10 kids from 3 to 67. Not much for outside play space but the amenities and space in the home were perfect! Would stay again in a minute! Plenty of room and seating for meals, games and movies. Great home away from home!
This would be a perfect cabin for a 2 or 3 families to rent while staying in the hills. We had all adults and although the cabin sleeps 25, it does not sleep 25 adults. Parking is limited but we were able to park 5 vehicles in the driveway with some average level Tetris skills. I would absolutely stay here again.

A few improvements
It a beautiful place to stay, so peaceful! The queen and king mattresses are not very comfortable. And it was easy to blow breakers in kitchen. But all and all a nice place to stay for a large group!
My husband’s entire immediate family and their families (20 people) all stayed at this house together. It had enough space for everyone. The house had so many amenities to keep everyone busy. Even on the rainy day, there was enough to keep the kids and adults occupied. Communication was easy between us and the property managers.
Property was very nice. We had some trouble with the ice maker making ice, and ran out of hot water when several took a shower. Would maybe suggest another refrigerator. We had 15 people so big group. Was happy with all the kitchen essentials, towels, bedding, hot tub and game room. We had 2 pickups and 4 SUV’s and they fit in the parking area OK. Would recommend it to others!
We had a large group with several teens. If I could change one thing it would be a bigger space in the basement away from bedrooms for kids to stay up later and watch a movie or play games. It was loud for those sleeping in the loft. Other than that the house was very clean and well stocked. They had everything you would need in the kitchen. Parking for trailers is up the road and cost $10 per day.
Overall this is a good property. Beautiful location, is close to other cabins, but this is pretty standard with most rentals. Nice cabin, well decorated, would sleep many people (20+) pretty easily, has a fully stocked kitchen, spare blankets, nice hot tub, washer/dryer, TVs, games, decent amount of linens, extra chairs for outside.
A few notes though:
Wifi is spotty, parking is limited. These are pretty standard in the hills though and not really the owners fault.
There are a few things that could use some updating/improving. The beds are really uncomfortable, like really. This was a general complaint from every adult with us. They wouldn’t be beds that most hotels would consider acceptable, to be honest. The couch has also seen better days. Most importantly, the upstairs shower curtain is absolutely gross, stained yellow. Just sort of makes you feel like the whole place is not maintained or clean if a shower curtain can’t be replaced. The other showers have different curtains that won’t stain the same, but probably are just as old. The basement shower doesn’t drain well. Some of the sheets and towels also had some stains and black makeup marks. The grill not cleaned, has a lot of buildup. The fire pit is nice, but in a location where if there’s any wind it’s basically not usable, would be hugely improved upon with a pergola or some sort of barrier from the wind. It also whistles when the gas is turned up.
On a side note to the owner: the upstairs shower floor feels incredibly soft, not sure if it’s just the subfloor under it or water damage, but just wanted you to know.
A great house for our large group of 23! Loved the full over full over full bunk beds. Lots of space for everyone to spread out. Nice hot tub, lots of games for the kids. New, clean and beautiful views!
