"The Daria-I Nor hotel was unexpectedly closed during our stay in Alpe d’Huez. This meant there was no access to the facilities advertised at the time of my original booking. The restaurant was closed for breakfast and evening meals. The Spa, Bar and Ski shop were closed, and access to the Alpe Express was only available via a 100m muddy path rather than through the hotel. The staff were friendly and the swimming pool was adequate. If I had known the hotel was closed I would have booked more convenient and cheaper accommodation. I expect compensation for your failure to provide and communicate the changes consequent on the hotel closure."

"Same as other. Stayed April 2026 for the finale weekend of the ski season. Very convenient location, helpfully staff and good room layout. However, cleanliness was way beyond par… stains on wall, dust on the carpet, and plain gross ventilation outlets … but was hard to beat for the price !"

"This was a very clean and spacious apartment with lovely furnishings. Alina the host was lovely and was there for check in and show us around. Communication was excellent especially if there was a problem. 5 bedrooms, 3 with ensuite facilities with another shower room for the twin room and bunk room. An extra toilet was also in the floor with lounge and kitchen. In the sauna and steam room there was also another shower. There was a nice balcony with seating off the living area. The ski locker room was very spacious to accommodate skis with a heated boot rack for several pairs of boots. It was a short walk uphill to the slope where you could ski down to a poma lift which would then enable you to access the rest of the slopes. There were 2 parking spaces and one had EV charging. The walk to the village was about 20mins around the hair pin bends, but uphill on the way back! A nice pizza restaurant was in the village, a couple of small bars and a supermarket. You can also rent skis here and purchase a lift pass.We mainly ate at the apartment which was well stocked with equipment you needed for cooking. A lovely stay, with fantastic views over the mountains."

"I would have preferred an evening menu that you could choose rather than the set menus. Breakfast was excellent. The massage lady I had was superb. The reception was hit and miss. I tried to book the evening meal there but was told to book it at the restaurant however no one was there to take the booking so I had to keep going back. The bar staff were great and the happy hour and afternoon tea was a great touch. No towels at the pool was annoying when the spa people were away you couldn’t get a towel. I think the spa should be free for guests all day it just the morning. Pool table and games is good. Room cleaner kept coming into the room when the do not disturb ticket was on the door. The dryer in the ski boot room didn’t work in the locker. The location and design of the hotel was great. All in all a fabulous holiday. Thank you "
