"In the past I have rated two homes with 5 stars. These homes were well equipped, with 3 or 4 bedrooms, infinity pools, perched high on a cliff overlooking the ocean, at $200-$250 a night. I thought these homes offered exceptional value and deserved 5 stares. This apartment does not have these features and has some kitchen issues (see below) but at a rate of much less than $100 a night, it offers exceptional value deserving a 5 star rating. "We loved our stay here! The room was clean, great balcony overlooking the most beautiful bay. Access is easy by walking distance to restaurants, bars, and convenience store. The only take backs to make it better is missing basics to start off especially if you just landed. Lacking basics, salt, pepper, shampoo, soap. The apartment needs some love in maintenance)broken sofa, broken walls etc. But overall the view, cleaning team and reception are amazing. They will do everything to make the sty enjoyable. 5 stars for the view, gated parking and customer service. "

"This is a reasonable priced, quiet and well maintained hotel/hostel located between the international airport and city centre of Fort de France. It took me just over an hour to walk to central Fort de France and the ferry terminal. The hotel has plenty of free secure parking for guests. My room was clean and spacious with a balcony offering a nice view of Mount Pelee. The bed was comfortable, the air conditioning was efficient, the wall mounted TV had several channels and there was plenty of closet space. The bathroom was large with excellent water pressure and copious amounts of hot water. The wifi reception was excellent. The hotel staff were all courteous, professional and English speaking. Breakfast was included for guests and it had lots of variety. The food available was fresh and delicious. The restaurant located on the main floor beside reception had excellent food during the set hours for lunch and dinner. The hotel was very quiet overnight so I always enjoyed a good night’s sleep. All in all this was a very pleasant stay and I would definitely stay here again when visiting Fort de France."
