"Nous avons passé une nuit dans cette petite caravane avec deux adultes et 3 enfants (13/10 et 2 ans) La literie est très confortable et propre ainsi que le bloc sanitaires à l'écart. Idéal pour passer un moment au calme entouré d'animaux que les enfants ont adoré. Seul petit choses c'est que nous n'avons pas eue d'électricité dans la caravane car le panneau solaire n'avait pas chargé. Mais pour une nuit c'était très bien. Les propriétaires sont sympathiques."

"We hebben met de familie een geweldige week gehad in deze mooie accommodatie. De omgeving was prachtig, en geweldig zo tussen de weides met paarden. We zijn 2x naar de invasie stranden geweest, dit was wel een stukje rijden, +/_ 1.5 uur. Maar dit was een bewuste keuze, omdat de accommodatie ons zo aansprak. "L’accueil des propriétaires a été très agréable et ils étaient disponibles pour nos questions. La maison est bien équipée et pratique. Le jardin est très bien. Il est clos comme indiqué sur l’annonce, cependant attention pour les gens avec de gros chiens, les clôtures ne sont pas très hautes (moins de 1m). Le propriétaire nous a donné de très bons conseils de visite. Les randonnées depuis le centre du village sont supers. Vraiment excellent sejour."

"Très bien accueillis, propriétaires très sympathiques et accueillants. Le studio est agréable, nous recherchions calme et nature, c'était parfait. La literie est confortable. Il faut un peu d'organisation pour les coins repas/cuisine. Bémol sur l'électricité qu'il faut couper au disjoncteur sur un différentiel pour ne pas avoir le ronronnement de la VMC, ce qui coupe l'électricité du studio, plus de lumière ni télé. Autre petit bémol, mais je suis très maniaque, la vaisselle demanderait à être...

"Another excellent stay at the hotel, the location is quite, plenty of parking available, we had a 5.5 metre van and were able to park it easily and safely. The room was a good sized and an opportunity to take the waters too. Staff friendly. Bagnoles has a number of good Restaurants but they eat early (19.00 to 19:30) booking. "

"Our host at Au Fer à Cheval was Romain, a friendly and helpful man. He owns about 20 English thoroughbred race horses, as well as breeds them. His farm is in a beautiful location with lovely views. It was unfortunately cold and wet for the two nights that we were there, so we couldn't use the pool, and the roads were too slippery for him to take us out in his horse-drawn carriage, but we did see two of his retired racing mares with their foals. Our room was comfortable and clean, good shower, and a small kitchenette. It's a good idea to take your own tea, coffee and milk with you. Continental breakfast was good and delivered to our room at the time we requested. A good guide book in English of what to do in the area was left in our room, but perhaps the only disadvantage of the place is that it is quite isolated and a long way from any any restaurants. Overall, a lovely place, and we'd recommended it."

"What a wonderful holiday we had at this location, i would highly recommended staying here.The owners were very friendly and helpful.The house was just amazing and the huge indoor pool and jacuzzi were absolutely perfect, we spent most of our days in there.We will definitely be returning here!"

"We enjoyed our stay here. The hotel is in a beautiful and quiet location. It is small, more like a restaurant with rooms and is very traditional in feel. It takes around 20-25 minutes to walk into the town of Mayenne along the river. Breakfast was good and we had dinner in the restaurant one night which was very good. Staff are polite and helpful. There is a small bar near to the reception area, although beer is expensive. It is a great place to sit outside with a drink, watching the wildlife on the river. The weather was hot when we stayed and being an older style property, there is no air conditioning or a fan. As it is such a quiet area, we were able to open the windows overnight. If visiting this area again, I would certainly stay here, although not in July or August, when it is likelier to be hotter than it was when we stayed"
