"This is truely a splendid location to enjoy the Brenne's amazing rich nature: red deer, wild boar, red fox, a great number of bird species. They can all be seen around the house and in the etang and forest in the 'backgarden' of the beautiful house."

Le gérant est très arrangeant au niveau des horaires d’arrivée et de départ MAIS…… la maison est vétuste, tout ou presque est à refaire , le ménage est plus que moyen. "Beautiful authenthic house in Brenne located next du Maison du Parc of the Brenne nature reserve were walks into the reserve start. Lot of lakes were birds and other animals thrive. The house has everything you need and a magnificent garden. Our dogs also liked it. For the kids the area got a bit boring after a couple of days of walking and birding as most lakes were private so we bought stuff were they could play with in the garden. The house was the old donkey house and is nicely restored....

"We enjoyed our short stay at Fougeres. Roselyn and Jean Louis were very helpful with directions of how to find the gite. They organised Jocelyn to meet us on our arrival and show us how everything worked. The gite was warm and cosy with all the mod cons to make us comfortable. Elle nous reproche de ne pas avoir nettoyé alors que nous avons pris l'option ménage ! Le comble.La location est pour 12 personnes...
