"We stayed in this house and although it was nice we couldn’t sit outside very much because of a massive influx of wasps for the whole 2 weeks which was a shame as it was hot, we have stopped at other places that are next to farms etc. but on this occasion they were doing a massive building project and it was noisy and very dusty and on the odd day muddy. For the price all the services should be included. Also I had to pay a big deposit which is also a first as we always look after our holiday...

"It was a lovely little gite, in a nice peaceful area, with beautiful scenery. Situated close enough to Chateabriant to be convenient for sightseeing/shopping/meals out, but far enough to be peaceful and relaxing. The host, Melanie, literally could not do enough for us. "Cadre idyllique avec vue sur la loire. Maison sur 3 niveaux, chargée d'histoire. toute la famille s'est sentie chez soi , avec son poêle , sa terrasse qui domine la loire. Nous avons passé un excellent weekend .Le contact avec Alice , la propriétaire a été bienveillante avec ses conseils sur le fonctionnement de la maison .les lieux étaient propres, aussi nous nous sommes efforcés de le laisser dans le même état. Nous reviendrons."

"I would not reccomend anyone to stay here. we had a nighmare stay the kitchen, bathroom, and shower room were so dirtyUnable to use the kettle it was so bad had to go out and buy one , we had to chuck a bucket of water down the loo each time to flush it The washer was so dirty we couldnt use it . Staes there is 2 bikes there were no bikes in sight . This place totally ruiened our holiday. We were so glad to move on to our next place "

" I booked a twin room for myself and my son and we had a lovely meal the evening we arrived. We only had coffee in the morning before departing. My only complaint would be that the beds are suitable for children but not so much for adults. Wider quilts that cover you and hang over the bed further would have made it a more comfortable nights sleep, especially for my son who is tall and of larger build, plus extra pillows in the wardrobe for those who require them would have been appreciated. This was our only disappointment. Otherwise we were very pleased with the food and service. "

"The house, though not state of the art, was okay. Everything we needed was available. The rooms are spacious as the kitchen is. The garden was so beautiful. We couldn't stop watching (we were at the right time I suppose). Flowers were still blooming and there was an abbundance of fruit and vegetables we were allowed to use. This and the absolute silence was overwhelming.The environment of the estate is beautiful and quiet as well. Ghislaine is a very nice host. Present when needed. "

"Nice hotel/conference centre, it was quite quiet on our visit and we barely saw anyone else which was strange. My biggest complaint was that the WiFi (and hence smart tv) did not work in the room, and we were told that was just how it was. Staff were otherwise great and a nice restaurant with delicious French cuisine. Bed and linens fairly standard. "
