"Room was just clean, the bath I wouldn't bathe a dog in it. Nothing like the images, reception are only open a few hrs a day in the evening on weekdays. Nothing like on the photos, looks like it's stuck in the 80's. Baths leak and tiles cracked. Says there's a pool but was shut and we got nothing more information."

From the moment I arrived, the service was truly exquisite—every member of the staff was warm, attentive, and unbelievably accommodating. They made me feel genuinely cared for throughout my stay. A special shoutout to The Vista, their on-site restaurant. The food was absolutely delicious, and the elegant, beautifully designed space made every meal feel memorable. I also loved their gym—top-of-the-line equipment, a bright atmosphere, and everything you need to stay active while traveling. My Superior Room was wonderful, especially the terrace with a cozy outdoor bed overlooking the heated pool and the charming village below. It was the perfect spot to unwind. And the 15-minute walk down to Gigaro Beach quickly became one of my favorite parts of the trip—the scenic views were stunning and made for peaceful, picture-perfect moments. I also appreciated the transportation the hotel arranged for visits to nearby sites. Their staff and concierge were always incredibly easy to reach via WhatsApp, making communication smooth and stress-free throughout my stay. Overall, I’m deeply grateful for my time at Lily of the Valley—the memories I made, the peace and calm I found, and the chance to step away from the hustle of work and recharge before the new year. "We had no major issues. The place is a bit tired to be honest and on our last night there of the 12 we had neighbours and you could literally hear them as if they were standing next to you due to the adjoining internal door. Overall satisfied and the staff were nice. We found the location good, we had a car but often walked the 20 mins to the train station to travel to other towns. Cleanliness was not an issue, would like the outdoor areas to be more usable, not overly private and the outdoor furniture would have been better being on a patio rather than grass. "
