"The staff were very welcoming. The room was clean. Although the hotel is situated on a busy road, all the rooms overlook the quiet internal courtyard. We had a very peaceful night followed by a good breakfast with a wide range of choices. We also walked around the beautiful town of Beaugency. It was the perfect stopover on our way south."

"Superb for an our large family holiday. The description doesn’t do it justice. La Motteraye comprises 3 houses which suited our family very well. Emmanuel is a super host- always contactable.Superb."

"Parking was really easy and the breakfast buffet is great. It includes protein (ham, cheese, cold cuts, eggs), croissants, crepes, and cakes. The best of French and Northern European breakfasts! The pool is really great - the water temperature was very comfortable. The staff was friendly. My wife and I had a great time."

"Beautiful old Abbaye in a stunning village overlooking the river. Ongoing restoration has been done very sympathetically- we visited over 50 years ago and to see the improvements over the years was astounding. The evening meal on the terrace was unforgettable. Many, many thanks for all the memories."

"My family, including our two young children, stayed at Repère Sauvage for three nights in late June 2026, and we had a wonderful experience. The property is beautiful, with thoughtful attention to every detail, creating a warm and relaxing atmosphere. We especially enjoyed the swimming pool, the bicycles, and the delicious food. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit and would gladly stay here again on a future trip. Highly recommended!"
