We asked if it was posssible to have a black tea teabag (essential for English travellers) but were told no we would have to order tea in the cafe if we wanted black tea. Very disappointing for a hotel that prides itself on good customer service!"

"This appears to be a re-badged Campanile hotel which has just had Campanile signs changed to Design Inn. As such it provides good basic, no frills accommodation. The one difference with Campanile is that this hotel does not provide dinner but is very close to a Buffalo Grill which is conveniently located for dinner. There were various places where old Campanile signs had been removed but not well repaired so it gives the impression of not being well cared for. The staff were very helpful and found a secure place to store my bicycle. The breakfast was fine without being exceptional."
