"Lovely old property close to towns in the scenic Dordogne. A car is essential. We stayed in the old castle which was charming. Excellent restaurant - be sure to book ahead."

"Magnifique endroit avec décoration magnifique et paysage sublime. Stéphanie et Fabrice sont des hôtes chaleureux et attentionnés. Lits très confortables, piscine bienvenue avec la chaleur, excellent petit déjeuner (granola maison délicieux). Très bien situé."
"Beautiful niche hotel in a quiet town in the lovely Perigord region. Centrally located with easy daytime excursions to the various places of interest. Hotel offers everything you need, parking, quiet, excellent restaurant, knowledgeable concierge and a spacious room and bath, even a large balcony. Only downside was that no restaurant in town would open for dinner before 7pm. But when they open, the food is fantastic."

The host was very welcoming and pleasant. She spoke excellent English and made sure we never had to stumble with our very limited French.
We had the top-floor room with an open attic...
