"The public areas of this hotel were very well kept and of good quality. We dined in the restaurant and the food was very good. The pool and wellness area were also exceptional. The rooms are more small, basic and functional."

"Olde world building at the centre of the village. Very friendly staff and very clean room and communal areas. Very good breakfast. One of the staff booked a table in a near by restaurant, due to it being a Sunday and not many places open on a Sunday in France. Would I stay here again, a definite yes."

"Beautiful place with fabulous styling and great facilities. Lovely peaceful and quiet. The pool was extra special. The bed was really comfortable with lovely bed linen, but lots of the surfaces in the bedroom were very dusty, and although I brought it to the attention of housekeeping it wasn’t really resolved."

"Very nice and cute little house. Wonderfull matrasses to sleep and has everything you need. Welcome by owner was very friendly and fortcoming for any questions. Breakfast was very tasteful and cared for, especially home made jam was very good! Only remark we would have is the wood work off the little stairs at the front off the house needs repair / maintenance "

"This hotel is a converted palace, but very contemporary. We had a suite, it was massive, and stylish with a superb bed - must be emporer size! The bathroom was an old chapel, it all had the wow factor. We slept better than we could imagine, the room was very dark and extremely quiet, we loved it! We didn't use the

unfortunately, there was a charge for it which I think was a bit much to charge customers. It is right in the centre of Le Mans, next to a fabulous quare of restaurants, and also...

"Chateau de Lauresse was a fantastic place to stay! Great family rooms (comfy beds, adjoining Children’s bedroom and lovely big bathrooms) and super swimming pool area. Free bikes to explore the estate and home cooked meals provided on request (need to be pre-booked). Would definitely recommend! "
