"Really peaceful, lovely rooms and a warm welcome. Really good continental breakfast. There was even a kettle and decent teabags! This hotel is excellent value for money. Immaculately clean, lovely bathrooms. The rooms were spacious and comfortable - modern rooms but in keeping with the traditional rustic building. The hotel has an honesty bar where you can get a beer (but not much else) although there's no drinks or facilities to make bake a drink in the rooms. The village itself is very quiet...

"Beautiful place with fabulous styling and great facilities. Lovely peaceful and quiet. The pool was extra special. The bed was really comfortable with lovely bed linen, but lots of the surfaces in the bedroom were very dusty, and although I brought it to the attention of housekeeping it wasn’t really resolved."

"The hotel was easy to find, and had good parking. The reception area was well laid out with access to food and drink vending machines. The room was immaculate, and the bed very comfortable. The en-suite facility was excellent. The reception and other staff were helpful and pleasant. A nearby Italian restaurant was great."

"Wow! Wow! Wow! This quirky, little place completely stole our hearts ♥️ My little boy was gutted we had to leave and said he'll never forgot this place or Yves- the farmer! 🥰 When we arrived we were invited into his home for beers around his kitchen table and he told us how he built the treehouse all by himself and the zip wires. Breakfast was delivered each morning to the treehouse in a basket where we ate it in the treetops- totally magical! There was enough food for breakfast, lunch and tea! Our children loved being able to wander around the farm, feeding the animals and the zip wire and pool were a big hit with them both! "

The village itself is very quiet - nothing to do apart from go for a walk. The next village along, Brulon, had a few more restaurants/cafes. We ate in the restaurant next to the hotel - worth booking ahead as it didn't look like they did walk-ins. The hotel booked us a table the day before we arrived. We would definitely stay here again and wish we'd stayed more than one night - if you're looking for a comfortable, peaceful overnight stopover, this hotel is perfect."

"Valèrie and her family were wonderful and very accommodating. The top floor of the property was wonderful for our stay and the house was beautifully presented. They were more than happy to share their recommendations for dinner, I wish we were staying longer, and would definitely return in the future."
