"Very nice little apartment away from the business of St Michel. Kitchen was so nice to have after eating in restaurants for the last 2 weeks. Kids loved the pool, and adults enjoyed sipping wine on our deck. The staff was very friendly and was able to get our place ready ahead if check in."

"Vieux-Viel ist ein kleiner und sehr ruhiger Ort. Für uns war es als Ausgangspunkt für Ausflüge in die Region ideal (Mont St. Michel, Avranche, St. Malo, Cancale, etc...). Supermarkt und Tankstelle sind in weniger als 10 Minuten zu erreichen. Frisches Gebäck haben wir bei den Bäckern in Pontorson bekommen. Egal wo, die Leute waren immer super freundlich :-). "We had a great stay and fantastic weather. Katia, the owner, was really welcoming and really made us feel at home. The property is a bit quirky but clean and well-equipped with plenty of space outside for relaxing, plus a table tennis room and a covered BBQ area. It's an ideal base for exploring the Normandy sights or riding bikes in the quiet lanes."

"Check-in was easy to find, they were very accommodating with storing our luggage until we checked in and after we checked out. The room was small, but completely sufficient for 3 people. It was clean, comfortable, and we would stay there again. We did have a bit of a walk to a secondary location in order to access the room, but this placed us closer to the edge of the island which gave better views and a more comfortable breeze with the windows open. "We had a great time staying on the island in this cute 4 single bed room. It had 2 single beds pushed together on the main floor and then a loft with 2 single beds. The bathroom was large and newly redone. We were able to open the windows for a draft and it was very quiet until around 9am. We were able to enjoy exploring the island and liked the back door that went right out onto the ramparts. There is a very cute courtyard that guests can access that we didn't realize. Beautiful flowers and tables, we had a picnic out there. "

"Very nice place to stay. Very good service and staff is really great. Just a few minutes by car to a parking lot or 25 minutes walk to the Mont St-Michel shuttles in a safe track. Nice spot to see Mont St-Michel from a distance in the morning. If you like sheeps, you will be able to see them pass by twice a day. Very cool to see them with the dogs doing their job."
