My buddies and I spent the weekend at the Honeycomb Home and absolutely loved it. It’s close enough to Kalamazoo to enjoy some nightlife but remote enough to enjoy peace and quiet. The owner was very attentive and the home had everything we needed. We definitely recommend this rental and we will be back!
Fantastic location for a cabin getaway. Plenty of room, area was clean, and all of the basement games were fun and functional! Outdoor area had plenty of room to play games and more than enough firewood for our stay. Would recommend to anyone looking to have a weekend getaway!
We had a lovely stay. The house is beautiful and well maintained. The hosts are attentive and helpful. The bedrooms are large and the beds are very comfortable. We enjoyed the deck and the fire pit in the evening. The kids and the dog in our group loved exploring the grounds.
Ryan and Andrea were excellent hosts. The Honeycomb home is comfortable and inviting due to all of the special touches that the owners have put into it. We rented the house to provide a Christmas for nieces and nephew, and it was perfect. We hope to return next year and create even more terrific memories. Thank you gain Ryan and Andrea for being so accommodating and understanding. We hope we left your home as we found it and with a little spirit of Christmas.Gratefully,John and Rob
Friends having a reunion from WMU - perfect location to visit WMU and have a wonderful place to return to. We all had our own space but also had two places to hang out with each other. We really enjoyed the house, and all its comforts it had to offer.
We used the Honey Comb Home while we visited colleges in Southern Michigan. The game room and outdoor space were a great place for the teenagers to burn energy off and watch the NCAA Tournament at night. There is a definite cabin feeling but it is in great shape and excellent value.
This was a beautiful property and home. Everything was clean and all the little "extras" were provided. Thoughtfulness of bathroom supplies, bug repellent, activities, and kitchen adequately stocked. All of the large beds, linens, and pillows were very comfortable. The twins were ok for kids, not as much for adults. We loved the space for gathering our family for my dads wedding celebration. We didnt explore the area much, but the space was close to everything we needed and exceptionally comfortable.
I loved the proximity to civilization and how private the property felt. The wooded setting was beautiful. I would have preferred a king bed in the master, and a second main floor shower. The home was lovely and exceeded every other expectation I had.
Clean and Welcoming, just watch the bottom step. The home was the perfect size for our group of 10. We had a tree fall down during our stay and the owners were super responsive and kind. Would stay again if we are ever in Michigan again since it was very close to a lot of our family.
Great location for family wedding weekend in Paw Paw. We were responsible for flowers for the venue and had plenty of space to work at the large dining table. Family members could relax together at this "home base." Thank you.
Lots of nice features as described. Very secluded property but close to local attractions. Host was very responsive to our concerns. Adjusting to well water was a challenge for us city folks.
We celebrated our family Christmas weekend here at honeycomb! Everything about the place was amazing! Very clean, comfy beds, lots of towels and the most stocked I have ever seen from a VRBO. The kids and grandpa loved the arcade type games, the board games were a huge hit as well as the toys they had. My kids are not huge winter outdoor kids but because of the yard and Ninja course they were outside most of the day for two days straight! Thank you for such.a fun time and it maybe come a family tradition!
Thank you for allowing us to enjoy your incredible home. We were blown away by the house and the property. I did pay quite a bit in cleaning fees so stripping the beds and taking the trash to the end of the driveway seemed like something that would be incorporated in the fee. The personalized note when we arrived and the help prior to check in was great. I’m hoping to bring my kids back this summer!
For Mother's day weekend we had a delightful stay at Honeycomb Home! My wife and I with our daughter, son in law and 2 teenage grandchildren arrived Friday May 10th and left Sunday May 12th. The house was spotlessly clean, beautifully decorated, and comfortably furnished. 👌 The internet connection was strong. We had a wonderful Zoom get together with our children and grandchildren in 4 states!
It was near supermarkets and shops. The family especially liked Moo Moo ice cream joint in Mattawan and Perfect Storm West for comics and trading cards in Paw Paw. Wolf Lake State Fish Hatchery in Mattawan was fascinating 👍
This house should get a 6-star rating. We were so impressed and happy with our stay at the Honeycomb house!! Came into town to visit relatives, and arrived later in the evening due to traffic and weather. From the moment we turned down the long and winding driveway, we started to relax. The entire home was amazingly well-appointed and sparkling clean! There were six of us staying and we never felt crowded or crammed together. When my younger nephews came to visit, they had a blast exploring outside, playing in the game room, and riding the zip line. The teens did too! :)We loved it so much, we are already looking at some potential dates to come to the area this summer when the house is available!
We had a wonderful stay at the cabin. Everything was described, very comfortable. Hosts were wonderful with communication. The place and surroundings were beautiful, and had everything needed for a perfect stay. The kids loved the zip line! Thank you for sharing your beautiful place with our family!
