This beautiful, well-cared-for home was perfect for our family reunion. The house was spacious, exceptionally clean, and provided plenty of room for everyone to gather comfortably. We especially appreciated the large gathering areas and the well-equipped kitchen, which made preparing and serving meals for a big group so much easier. The layout was fantastic, with individual bathrooms that gave everyone added privacy and convenience. There was also plenty of parking and lots of space to relax, visit, and enjoy time together. Overall, this was a wonderful facility for a large family gathering, and we would gladly stay here again.
The location is quiet & private. Parking area is great. The home was clean & spacious. Number of bedrooms & bathrooms was the main draw for our family & our entire group of 27 was accommodated very well. A/C units in each room were appreciated as each occupant could set temperature to their liking. Kitchen is very well stocked & 4 ovens & 3 refrigerators were great. The multi-purpose area was used for dining, games, line dancing, crafts. However, the huge, tall area was horrible for noise control. All noise seemed to magnify & echo within the large space & it was very difficult to have conversations with anyone more than 1 or 2 feet away if activities were taking place. By the end of the day people were on sensory overload & complained of headaches. Bedrooms were the only space to have a quiet conversation. There were 2 seating areas set up for conversation adjacent to the large common area but there was no way to minimize the very loud and echoing noise from the adjoining activity area. The game table on the second level, open to the common area, just added to the noise. This configuration could work for a small reception or other short-term group activity but if opportunities for quiet conversations and homey, comfortable group time are desired as part of a family reunion, we did not find the space conducive to that. In fact, many were jealous of the one family member who could turn their hearing aids off. A tv for family videos & activities would be great in common area.
