"Die Wohnung war sauber und gepflegt. Die geräumige Küche, sowie der Essbereich und der Wohnbereich luden uns zum geselligen Miteinander ein. Bei einem morgendlichen Kaffee auf dem Balkon, konnte man weit über die Felder und den angrenzenden Wald blicken, während unzählige Meisen und Eichelhäher ein Konzert gaben. Dies war nicht der einzige tolle Moment in dieser Ferienwohnung im schönen Nordhalben. Wir kommen gerne wieder."

"Pros: Es gibt ganz viele Wandermöglichkeiten und man kann die Ruhe genießen Cons: Allerdings sollte ein Mindestmaß an elektr. Geräten vorhanden sein. Es gab einen Wasserkocher und 2 Kochplatten. Es gab leider keine Möglichkeit das Bad zu heizen. Als Sitzgelegenheit gab es nur 5 Stühle."

Sehr hohe Energiekosten zusätzlich. Ohne Heizung teilweise nicht auszuhalten. Nagetiere in der Zwischendecke. Internet ist bei schlechtem Wetter eine Katastrophe. "I recently stayed at Hotel Adler in Rudolstadt and was impressed by its unbeatable location—right in the city center, just steps from the main square, the train station, and the stunning baroque Heidecksburg Castle. The hotel is housed in a beautiful historic building dating back to 1880, which adds a lot of character and charm to the experience. The rooms are spacious, cozy, and tastefully decorated, reflecting the style of the period while still offering modern comfort. There is parking available, which is a great convenience if you’re traveling by car. One downside is that the rooms are not air-conditioned, which can be a bit uncomfortable in hot weather. However, given the age and style of the building, it’s understandable and didn’t detract too much from the overall experience. The staff is friendly, though they speak only German, which might be a bit challenging for non-German speakers. As for breakfast, it’s fairly basic—not outstanding, but perfectly adequate to start the day. Overall, Hotel Adler is a great choice if you’re looking to stay somewhere with character and a central location in Rudolstadt."

"Very nice hotel near the main street. The restaurant was very good with traditional Thuringian food. It looks like the restaurant is used by locals too. The breakfast buffet had plenty of options available. The room was functional and the bathroom seemed newly renovated. The hotel had a sauna, but I didn’t use it."

Fantastisch für große Familienfeiern

"Dies ist das zweite Mal, dass wir bei der Familie Muffel zu Gast sein durften. Das Haus ist absolut Spitzenklasse; man ist unter sich, hat große Küchenräume, einen Garten, eine Terrasse, einen Wintergarten, und selbst wenn das Wetter nicht mitspielt, kann man mit vielen Leuten hier gemeinsam und gemütlich zusammen sitzen. Was mir am meisten gefällt, ist die Sauberkeit. Alle Bäder sind absolut makellos und auch die Küchen und natürlich die Schlafzimmer. Die ganze Anlage ist so schön gepflegt, ein großes Lob an Familie Muffel. Sie haben uns auch sehr geholfen, als wir spät ankamen, und alles im Ort schon geschlossen war. Wir freuen uns schon auf unsere nächste große Familienfeier. Alles Gute liebe Frau Muffel und Familie."
