The Incognito #1 is located steps from The Scotsman General Store and very convenient walking distance from downtown. Enjoy a stylish ground floor experience at this centrally-located AirBNB. The Incognito #1 is located in a historic building built in the 1940's that was originally a mechanic shop. This unit is newly finished. Included is a 1 Bedroom (1 King), 1 Bath ( Shower / Bath tub), Oven, Refrigerator, Dishwasher, Microwave.

With this unit you will experience what made Laurel, Laurel. As you look out the unique architectural windows, you will have access to the rail line that gave Laurel its prominence while also carrying musicians and artists to New Orleans, Chicago, and all along the eastern coastal cities. We are very excited to share this experience with our guests. You will hear the train / Amtrak and also see its daily travels and enjoy the sites that it brings.

* Just as a note, the train tracks are located to the east. So you will hear the train occasionally. Also of note, most all of the AirBNB's in the Downtown Area are located so that you will hear the train. It is just one of the unique aspects of Downtown Laurel.

Best place to stay in Laurel.

Location was perfectly out of the way, but close to everything. We intentionally picked this place as it had good proximity to where we were focused on. It is very unassuming from the exterior, but the interior was 5 star. Great hosts, awesome accommodations. Would highly recommend.

Great location and the best hosts! We enjoyed our time in Laurel at the Incognito. We had plenty of space to relax after a day of touring the downtown area. The property is located within walking distance of all the shopping and local restaurants. Would definitely stay again.

Great little getaway

We went to Laurel to visit the town. We didn't think we would spend much time back at the VRBO, but we enjoyed the apartment like setting quite a bit so we stayed back at the room and watched movies and enjoyed the atmosphere. Thanks again!

Short stopover

My husband and I spent 2 nights in Laurel on our way to Houston. We had a great time. The property was very clean and comfortable. It was literally a block from the Scotsman General Store and 2 blocks from town. Everything was in walking distance. Perfect location for shopping, eating, and relaxing. Would definitely recommend. Hope to come back ourselves.

Honest & Trustworthy Host

It was our first time staying here and as you know, can never be sure of your stay. We stayed in #1 and it was very clean and stylish. The host are fantastic and quick to contact if needed. Had no concerns with location and is within easy walking distance to the Scotsman of Hometown.

Great spot in Laurel

Very clean nicely appointed unit. Very comfortable bed!! You can walk to everything from here and the Dollar General next door is convenient for any forgotten items. The listing mentions the train and you will hear one or two a night but the black out curtain make sure you get a good nights sleep. Would stay here again when visiting Laurel.

An Undeliverable Relaxation

The Incognito 1 was an unbelievable place to relax, unwind, and enjoy Laurel. It is literally two blocks to The Scotsman and an enjoyable walk to downtown. I highly recommend this beautiful Historic Roundhouse mechanic shop to be enjoying. The history is there, but the beautiful bedroom, kitchen/den, and wonderful history are a must to be experienced.
