"Lovely friendly hotel that feels like home. We had a room with a private bathroom and it was perfect for our needs. Staff were friendly and only there in the morning for breakfast and cleaning purposes. Great shared kitchen/dining area with a microwave, tea and coffee, and fresh banana bread baked daily. Breakfast was continental style, but good quality and well presented. In the evenings there is a communal seating area which was very cozy, and has access to Google speakers to put on music. "

"Really lovely place to be. The interiors are rustic, and feel like I'm staying at a someone's house. Not a bad thing at all though! We also enjoyed being greeted by a friendly cat (the cat was the star of the show). I would LOVE to come back and stay again. The area is beautiful and this would be a lovely place to use as a base to explore from."

"This apartment was perfect for our stay. The neighborhood is very walkable with dining spots just a 5-10 minute walk away. The views are gorgeous and we loved waking up here each morning. The apartment was very clean. The host communicates clearly and responded to our messages very promptly. This apartment has a full kitchen. The bathroom even has a laundry washing machine. This space was perfect for our 3 day trip exploring the northern reaches of Iceland. Highly recommend for future travelers."
