Perfect For EDC
We stayed here for EDC and it was perfect! We weren't there for the strip and all of that, just needed a place to sleep after EDC. The only thing that was a bummer was that there wasn't a casino on site. Had to go to either Wynn or Encore or drive onto the strip. Room was clean and staff was nice. Would definitely recommend and stay again!

They never came on to clean our room. The coffee pot was broken . The bathtub was clogged. The refrigerator froze everything. The hallways and elevator smelled of marajuana.

Everything was great. We WILL stay there again. Our only complaint was the water in the shower. It goes from boiling hot to freezing cold regardless of how you turn the handle!!

The a/c continuously stated on high. If I put it lower it would just shut off and not go back on. The bathroom was very small and no counter space.

We booked a hotel room in Royal Resorts, a "suite" with a king bed and kitchen area. It turned out to be one room with a king bed and another fold down bed. Kitchen area was a small shelf with a microwave, refrigerator below. No counter, no sink other than bathroom, no space. And the pool wasn't usuable, no estimate when it would be. We were told the second day that we would not be getting maid service because it was a time share room. No mention of that during reservation process. No suite, no kitchen, no maid service, no pool.

Asked for non-smoking room but was given a room that was a smoking room - when I asked to change rooms, the staff were EXTREMELY rude. I had to wait 1 hour (at an empty reception) while they checked out another room to give me. The staff are abominable. I've travelled extensively and have a global job that takes me to a lot of places abroad, and this service was one of the worst I've experienced. There is no breakfast, and the pool was out of action. This hotel is fine for singles / hen parties / stag parties - where you spend most of your time outside the hotel and you only need it for a drunken night's sleep. I would pay more and stay in a better hotel.

If you don't want to spend "Strip" prices but only be blocks away, then this is your stay. Clean, a little out dated, and is next to Walgreens which came in handy multiple times. Will definitely stay again and would recommend.

Always Wonderful!
We have been staying at Royal Vacation Suites for the past 7 years. We have never had anything but the best customer service and overall room comfort. Pool was a nice way to cool down in the 107 heat! Fridge was great for keeping water and beer ice cold! Microwave was great for reheating leftovers (which saved $ on food!) We stayed for 5 nights and anything we asked for (extra towels, toilet paper, etc...) was always quickly brought to our room. When we booked last minute concert tickets, it was no problem to print our tickets out at the front desk. This is a small town feeling hotel, which is wonderful to us as The Strip can get to be a little to much after awhile! If you are looking for a mega hotel with a huge casino, this is not the place for you. If you want a home away from home to come back to after a long day/night on the strip, you will love this place!

Great hotel! Will stay again.
I have now stayed at the Royal Resort twice. Both times I was very satisfied with my experience. I particularly enjoy the hotel's amenities, including the pool and hot tub. Neither get very crowded from my experience. Excellent value overall.

The hotel for the price was awesome! Location is perfect! Walking distance to everything. The rooms were very clean, bed was comfortable and the hotel staff were all super nice. The bar was beautiful only thing you dont really know its there until you ask. Maybe that was the point though. It was very nice inside, upscale glam status. I have stayed at the Royal Suites before but never taken the time to let you guys know why we return. I ll be back:)

Very thin walls
This is a time share that owners rent out. The walls are very thin, we heard conversations at 3am as well as more...grunty activity. It is fairly priced, but we tried to be extra considerate keeping our voices low.

Hotels.com very unprofessional
The hotel was fine but my experience with Hotels.com was horrible!! When I got to hotel they told me that hotels.com never booked my room and they had no rooms available. Then hotels.com told me they could find another hotel for me to stay in which they couldn't!! This was the worst experience ever forced me to call a relative last minute to stay in their apartment!! I dont think I will ever use hotels.com ever again!! Worst service ever!!

Does not charge resort fees.
We were looking at a budget rental close to the strip and most were way expensive than what we had planned to pay. This place has clean, spacious rooms and excellent staff. There is no view of the strip but it is just a small walk away. They do not charge a separate resort fee... (yay!!) No breakfast. However, small eateries are just 2 mins walk from here.

Our Las Vegas Hotel Experience
We were in Las Vegas for our granddaughter's wedding. The hotel was close to the strip and places we needed to go. Our room was clean had plenty of room and also priced right. We will definitely stay there again. The staff was very friendly and helpful as well. We enjoyed our stay and will return.

Amazing hotel
This hotel is perfect. The room was clean and comfortable and with free parking and close to the strip, this hotel is great the value. Even though I checked out in the morning, I could still park my car without additional fees. I will definitely go there again :)

People who get their rooms at a discounted price get the crapy rooms (pool view) with a half balcony. The "crapy rooms" are old needs to be updated like the other rooms found on 4th and 5th floor. The carpet on the 3rd floor are al patched up. Discounted rooms are also the "timeshare rooms". Also if you purchase your room at a discounted price housekeeping comes once a week so be prepared to keep asking for things like toilet paper..towels..soap. Might as well book at a 4star

Staff was very nice and helpful. Room was excellent with a balcony. Pool area and pool was great, Dan I believe his name was helpful in getting us tickets to a wonderful show and scheduled a shuttle bus for the next morning to the airport. We loved it there.

Great Room
This hotel is very close to the convention center and Las Vegas Blvd. We got a double room and it was perfect. My son had two sofa beds in the other room and a tv and the mini fridge and microwave. Our room had a large bed and tv. HBO was available on tv as well. My husband and son used the jacuzzi and pool a few days. Staff were friendly. Now I shouldve read the reviews are room was on the 3rd floor on the street side, so it can be noisy at times. Maybe I couldve asked for a different room. For the price this is a really good deal. We would book this hotel again.

Nice quiet hotel off strip..but be prepared
Excellent, clean hotel. But going to the strip costs you $20 each way. And the tram doesn't help either. If you have your own car or just going to convention center, perfect hotel. But if you are in Vegas to hang at the strip all day, stay on the strip! Same cost with all the daily cab rides. But did love having Denny's across the street with walgreens.

Very nice Hotel, but expect to do a lot of walking
I was pleasantly surprised by how nice this hotel was. Staff were very friendly and accomodating. The pool area is very nice and mostly quiet, which we appreciated. We were allowed to check in very early and also to check out late on our day of departure. The room was plenty big, not gigantic like most of the Strip Hotels, but who needs all that extra room? It is located a very short walk from the Strip, but you are way on the North end so you will be doing plenty of walking. We had no maid service, but there were always plenty of big towels by the pool and we re-use our bath towels at home, so that part was no big deal. I would definitely stay here again.

I really enjoyed this hotel. My only complaint was no room service, so I had to ask for towels, soap, more coffee, and I had to make up my own bed, which I didn't mind to much. But overall good experience.

It seemed like a nice hotel. Upon arriving at the hotel room there was bedbugs found. When talked to front desk they explained rooms had just been cleaned. Very disappointed.

There were four of us: my husband's parents, my husband and me, so we had a suite with a kitchen area (coffee maker, fridge and microwave) we asked for a toaster. The suite consisted of basically two lg rms.: one rm. had a kingsize bed, tv, table chairs, plenty of rm. the other rm. had two pull out sofas, tv, table chairs, plenty of rm. both areas had bathrm. facilities. We found the rms clean, the staff helpful, friendly and accommodating.

Pretty much middle of the road.
I selected this hotel due its proximity to the convention center (walking distance). The staff was friendly. The room was clean. The hotel itself is a tad dated. Upon checking in I was told my room didn't come with make up service. There is no breakfast in the hotel (I actually ate at the Mariott a few steps down). The restaurant in the hotel, The Barrymore, was great (only open at night). Overall, I'd stay again but its nothing spectacular.

Booked via Expedia, hotel staff is very rude, unwilling to help, they all seem like they hate their jobs. Very poor customer experience. Hotel was also very noisy. Got woken up several times due to noisy neighbors and there was a very annoying and loud clinging noise coming from the ventilation...NON STOP!!!! Also to our surprise with no idea, apparently my package did not have any maid services included. All they did was supply fresh towels during our entire stay and we had to ask for them. If we forgot to ask, we got no fresh towels. Plenty of better hotel options out there...I would not stay here again!!!!

With one exception, the staff could not care less.
I started with a full set of towels that dwindled each day as the used towels were used but not replaced. The room was made up every other day regardless of maid signs placed on the door when I left at 6 AM each day. With one exception, the staff treats you like a nusiance, and requests were ignored or completed with distaste.

The heat and air conditioning had to be turned on and off manually by the hotel staff. No room service available and in house restaurant was very expensive and only open at night.

You Can Do Much, Much Worse in Vegas
Pleased over-all. The immediate neighborhood is slightly gritty, but it seems safe enough. Ample free parking. The clerk at check- in was a bit perfunctory and curt, but efficient. The lobby was clean and well-appointed in an upscale tacky Vegas sort of way. I was concerned when I got in the elevator. The scent of Fabreze was over-whelmingly, but he room was very clean and comfortably appointed. The television was a little quirky. Didn't want to stay on any channel. Internet, while not free, was reasonably priced and high speed. I didn't have the cleaning problem some describe. Towels each day and bed changing after second night. The location is convenient to the Strip and Downtown. Convenient to McCarran. Good quality and value.
