"Somehow I got lucky when I stumbled across Playa Bonita. I switched to this hotel after a terrible stay at the grandmare just a few hotels up the way which was three times the price of Playa Bonita. This place was such a breath of fresh air. The rooms were big, the staff was very friendly, the pool was clean, and the best part of all--- the beach was a beach. "Very nice location, close to Mancora but with a quiet beach, which we appreciated very much. The room was basic but nice, with a terrace and ocean view. The bathroom was recently renovated, but not completely clean as we found hair in the shower. The pool is not large but was OK for the amount of people using it. One thing that really bothered us was that we requested extra towels and they said they can only give one per passenger, and they didn’t have towels for the pool or beach. I didn’t...

"This is for those of you with insight. This hotel is expensive when compared to other hotels in the area. From the pictures you expect a nice place, but think again. The hotel is old, the mattresses are as stiff as a rock, everything is from the 80s, and not taken care of. The place was dirty, the food was expensive and not that great, the service was abhorrent. We came to this hotel for our 5 year anniversary and they make you sign in blood for an extra towel. Not the type of hotel you...
