The grounds were beautifully landscaped and had many options for spending time outdoors sitting, talking, working, napping, watching wild birds, or eating at the al fresco restaurant. The staff worked hard to make our stay enjoyable. Volcancito’s weather was drier and warmer than Boquete’s. "

"Our room had some drawbacks, like many gaps between the roof and walls that enable insects to go inside, but we used our own mosquito net and we were safe to sleep quietly. The second night ants invaded our room, we were offered to be moved to another room, but we were ok with the solution to spray them as we weren't in the mood to pack all our belongings. Reynaldo who runs the hostel is really nice guy, very attentive, helpful and available any time of the day. He is also behind the local infocenter, that provides a good source of necessary info about all possible activities in Santa Fe. Food in hostel's restaurant was also good."
