"Generally the hotel was great and we enjoyed our stay. The gym was good and the sauna and steam room were great - the decor and particularly the bubble pool could do with some attention. Staff were excellent."

"Hotel was lovely, a bit awkward to get to a car and the carpark was full when we got there. However there’s discounted parking in a nearby multi-storey. There’s loads of roadworks and ongoing building so we were woken at 6am on a Saturday as building works began. Would have been nice to know about it in advance. Otherwise lovely stay "

"Very well placed for Glasgow's West End and also for the concert venues at the Hydro and the Armadillo. Very traditional style hotel with excellent reception staff. I didn't try the breakfast as I usually try to support local coffee shops and cafes. I was single traveller and I found the room to be a good size with a double bed. It was on the lower ground floor but there was still natural light from a window, even if the garden outside could do with a wee bit of tending. Everything that you really need for a a weekend stay. I would recommend it. "

"Room was clean staff great as usual but not very happy with my meal. Steak was grizzly and a bit fatty so didn’t eat it all a bit disappointed as my friend had it a couple of weeks ago and said it was good."
