"The room was clean but I had two issues and I was that the room was really small and there was really no hot water in the sink. The shower had hot water and was decent but these were the two issues I have with the room. I picked this because it had a gym and although the rooftop pool area was nice the gym would be better if they had some kind of weight equipment."

"Location is not in a nice neighborhood. Could not even take a shower as the shower area was not draining and causing pooling of water. Reported the incident but no subsequent action taken by attending staff at night. Hotel conditions needed a fix. Overall, I definitely cannot recommend this facility nor would I try the facility. "

"First time in Brazil, and this hotel was a nice hotel. I enjoyed the proximity to dining, beach, shopping, etc. I would've paid more for a nicer room, but I didn't spend much time in the room anyway. Rooftop pool and bar was a plus and so was the buffet style breakfast downstairs! 9/10 recommend."

"This is a beautiful historic house in a great neighborhood. The host was very responsive. The caretaker helped us bring luggage up/down the stairs. Bedding and towels showed signs of long use (some sheets/towels had holes). Many surfaces were dusty upon our arrival. Overall, it felt more like a hostel than a vacation rental."
