Authentic & charming Loft Atelier in the Monts du Lyonnais

Open space in the heart of nature 45 minutes from Lyon and 35 minutes from Saint-Etienne. Between river, pond and forest, you can work in peace, daydream, walk in a fresh and refreshing green countryside (many marked paths for hiking or mountain biking).
Fully equipped kitchen (electric and gas oven, dishwasher, fridge, extractor, kettle, toaster ...), painting equipment (acrylic, inks, pastels ...), bikes, canoes, trampoline, garden furniture and chicken coop eggs are available.
Ideal for 2 (140 bed), Atelier 22 can accommodate 4 people (sofa bed) and up to 6 with the bohemian caravan.

Lovely stay in the countryside

Leila is a very nice host and our stay was very pleasant. She can tell you a lot about the history of the mill. It's a good area for hiking.

Tranquility

Had a lovely stay at the mill. The space is large, bright and airy. The surrounding area is picturesque and the mill is an interesting old building with lots of arts, craft and nature to enjoy. Bed was comfy, kitchen had everything I needed to prepare meals, shower was great. Highly recommend a stay to disconnect from the fast pace of life and enjoy the slow life.

Annonce non conforme à la réalité

Arrivés sur site, nous avons découvert que les photos ne reflétaient absolument pas la réalité, l’accès à l’appartement très compliqué voire dangereux, handicapés ou blessés s’abstenir car rien à ce sujet n’est stipulé dans l’annonce, à l’intérieur le ménage n’était pas fait, aucun accès direct au terrain car contrairement à ce que laissent penser les photos il y’a à une rambarde à l’une des portes fenêtres et l’autre est condamnée. Quant à l’extérieur c’est l’abandon total, trampoline envahit par les ronces et la moisissure et le terrain impraticable avec des trous partout, le chemin vers l’étang impraticable aussi, pont instable etc. Nous avons eu froid pendant tout notre séjour car la propriétaire, une personne très agressive et de mauvaise foi, a refusé de nous mettre le chauffage. Nous avons dû écourter notre séjour pour toutes ces raisons. Nous avons dû faire appel à ABRITEL pour trouver une solution car la propriétaire ne répondait pas à nos messages. Elle ne voulait rien admettre ni entendre et après une longue et âpre discussion elle nous a fait croire qu’elle nous remboursait les nuitées non effectuées alors qu’en fait elle nous avait présenté une fausse facture. Heureusement nous avons contacté dès le lendemain ABRITEL qui nous a dit qu’aucun remboursement n’avait été demandé. Ils ont tout de suite compris que la propriétaire était de mauvaise foi (messages et photos à l’appui) et nous a remboursé immédiatement et sans condition les nuitées non effectuées.

Wir hatten einen sehr schönen Aufenthalt im Atelier 22. Die Unterkunft ist geschmackvoll eingerichtet und die Umgebung ist perfekt zum Wandern. Wenn man aus der Großstadt kommt, ist die Ruhe hier himmlisch. Wir waren zu dritt. Das ging gut. Für zwei Menschen ist die Unterkunft perfekt. Alle Absprachen und Arrangements haben gut geklappt. Wir können diese Unterkunft sehr empfehlen. Nous avons passé un très bon séjour à l'Atelier 22. Le logement est aménagé avec goût et les environs sont parfaits pour faire des randonnées. Quand on vient de la grande ville, le calme est divin. Nous étions trois. Cela s'est bien passé. Pour deux personnes, le logement est parfait. Tous les accords et arrangements ont bien fonctionné. Nous recommandons vivement ce logement.
