My family and myself enjoyed this rental and hope to return again during warmer weather. Great location to MSU. We attended a football game and visited our son on campus.
Thank you for hosting us,
Maria
This proprrty is a great place to stay. Convenient to everywhere!! Bonus was watching Riverboat turn around right in front of the property beach front! We came to visit family, they came to us, we didnt have to go to 5 or 6 differnt families homes. PLENTY of room here inside and Especially outside!!
This is a comfortable home with many amenities. It has a large yard that connects to a small beach and river access. It is in a quiet area that is still within easy reach of the city. The owner communicates well and is thoughtful. Needs were anticipated and addressed before we had even arrived.
The family had a great time. We would certainly stay again.
Right on the Grand River, this rental had excellent outdoor activities. The house is lived in so there is little separation between the owner’s belongings and rental space. This was challenging at times trying to keep kids out of the owners goods.
Two suggestions- lower the island bar stools as they are too tight to fit legs under the new island. (Great island btw). The second suggestion is for new mattresses in the lower bedrooms. One has a big sag in the middle and the other is lumpy.
Overall we enjoyed our stay and the great location.
We hosted our 3 children and their spouses for Christmas at this home. The house was beautifully decorated and had a very well-appointed kitchen. Great find for our family!
This very comfy & roomy home, sits alongside the Grand River ( great views). It was close to the wedding venue we attended, it was dog friendly ( signs of a GSD throughout) big TV’s came in handy on football Saturday, and we able store many wedding supplies in the garage. Hope to return one day.
My new in-law family stayed here to be in town for our wedding. They enjoyed the house and the property. Wonderful kitchen! We really loved the outdoor spaces! The pets were happy as well. While we didn't realize the two upstairs rooms would have little privacy from each other, the situation worked for our group. We will use this home again in future for family get-togethers.
Beautiful view, great outdoor space, spacious home.
Great home for a family gathering. We were celebrating an MSU graduation and it was perfect. Keith was responsive and accommodating. We would definitely stay there again.
The yard is wonderful and so spacious for all activities you could want to do outside. The house is a bit smaller than anticipated, but with enough air mattresses we all slept comfortably. The air conditioning had a hard time keeping up, but it was very hot and humid outside, and there were 10 of us in the kitchen/living room area, so it's somewhat expected. Keith was great and communicates well. While I wouldn't take a large group of all men to this home again, I would use it for families or couples trips. It's a great house in a great, quiet location.
We very much enjoyed our stay- even caught a catfish in the backyard! My only issue is that it is a 3 bedroom- not 4 like the add says. It also says there is a queen sized bed in the entertainment room and there isn’t. The kids slept on couches and it was fine, but the add should be corrected. That said, it’s a wonderfully unique house in a fantastic location!

Liked: Check-in, communication
Disliked: Cleanliness, listing accuracy
The house is out dated/needs to be painted and outside was dirty. We could never get the key pad to work so had to use the hidden key to access the house. When we arrived it was 77 degrees in the house and took a long time to cool down. The second day we had our daughter’s wedding and spent the day in 90 degree heat. When we left I turned AC to 70. We returned to it set at 77 with the upstairs over 80 degrees. The listing says it sleeps 12 but in reality it only sleeps 8 comfortably. I do not recommend staying here. Way over priced. The plus on the house was the master bathroom, blackstone grill, large bar table and large TV.

Not ready for prime time.
Had several home diy projects in process, left a feeling of not ready for guests.
House obviously has a pet, dog hair throughout house.
House was well equipped and is a very home, on the water. Just needs a deep clean and to complete projects.

Awful!Vrbo should investigate this owner/home- should have known something was fishy with a 3000 fee- SCAM.Cleaning crew should be ashamed- When we arrived, the house was dirty, smelly, and unkempt, owner had clothes in bedroom closet and food in the refrigerator and freezer. Dishes, bowls, glasses all had to be washed before usage. Kitchen floor needed to be swept. Outdoor deck chairs were very dirty and the card table was disgusting. Very misleading description- not 4 bedrooms, really 3, entertainment room did not have bedsIt does not sleep 12, we barely fit 9 uncomfortably. The downstairs basement beds were not queen beds, the entertainment room did not have beds, rather couches, futon in the living room was unusable (it was not a living room, rather the landing area of stairs to the bedrooms). If we opened the futon, it would block the entrances to the upstairs bedrooms. The upstairs bathroom door and main entry door didn’t close properly. The temperature was brutal- basement 60, main level 78, upstairs 80- very hard to sleepRooms facing sunrise didn’t have shadesThe boat was not operational.Seemed like a failing/leaning tree in the yard could be hazardousRun down, poor quality homeShould not be able to rent!

Nice property but issues
Keith sent a nice message before arriving and we assumed the stay would be great. We quickly realized the house was no cleaned, toilets had poop stains and the shower had clumps of someone else’s hair all over and clearly the counter tops had no been wiped down. Unfortunately also upon arrival one of the two bathrooms was broken. We had 5 people and had to share a master suite bathroom the whole weekend, you can imagine the frustration that included. Luckily construction workers were set up outside and let us use their disgusting porta potty outside of his house. We reached out to the owner immediately with no response, second day reached out to owner and still have yet to get a response to this day. Clearly a joke to even try to get help. The second and only toilet almost gave out the first morning we stayed so clearly there was a known plumbing issue.
Location and Neighborhood were great and the communication with the owner was seamless. He was easy to work with, flexible, and responsive (much appreciated!) Aside from a few minor things, e.g., having to use the keys instead of the code and some lack of securing of furniture to the walls for infant safety, all was well.
Extended family road-trip to see Badgers play Sparty. Home as advertised, convenient location near campus. Keith responded by phone promptly when we had a check in question. Enjoyed a fire along the river after the game. Only negative was I thought there were more beds.
Spacious house. Great fire pit on the river with ample wood. Fun weekend. Wish host would personally respond to requests. Auto generated emails. Would rent again
