The district of Lautenthal is a State-Approved climatic health resort that has belonged to the town of Langelsheim in the Goslar District of Lower Saxony since 1972 and has been officially known as a "Mountain Town". It is a welcome place to stay for asthmatics.
The space
Recharge your batteries at this holiday home where you have many activities to do during the Spring, Summer, Autumn and winter. Hiking, biking, paddle board, boating, sightseeing and explore the forest and museums are some of the many activities to do. The region around our mountain town turns into a huge winter sports area.
Tobogganing, ski touring, alpine skiing, cross-country skiing and snowboarding are no problem. Hiking in winter is also an experience on specially cleared hiking trails.

Other things to note
The city of Launtenthal requires that each guest registers at the tourist office. You need to fill up the card that is on top of the kitchen table for each guest that is staying at the property, take it to the tourist office located a few meters from the house and pay 1.75 euros per adult over 16 years, .75 euro for kids over 6 years old, per day. This will give you access to many of the entertainment activities in the area for free and in some of them with considerably discounts. They will provide information with many activities in the area, guidance and services. With the registration you will also get free bus transportation in the Harz.
