This top-floor apartment offers everything you need for a truly relaxing, laid-back holiday in the Harz Mountains. The apartment is bright, stylish, and modern. The open, new kitchen features an exceptionally quiet dishwasher. The kitchen is fully equipped with modern appliances. You’ll find small items such as a roll of paper towels, coffee capsules, dishwasher detergent, trash bags, kitchen towels, and toilet paper. If needed, you can use the Thermomix.
The dining area offers a beautiful view of the garden and the lovely Harz landscape.
To unwind, you can relax in the comfortable armchair or lounge on the sofa with an ottoman.
The metal bed in the bedroom has very high-quality mattresses, and sleeping here is a real pleasure.
The shower is very spacious, and a hair dryer is, of course, provided.
From the house, you can head straight out for long walks or hikes. After hiking, cross-country skiing, tobogganing, or mountain biking, you can visit the “Heiß Brocken” thermal baths, which are just a 2-minute walk away. We offer our guests a 20% discount on admission tickets.
Pets are not allowed.

In the summer, you can enjoy the large garden, the barbecue area with seating, and the lounge chairs for relaxation.


Residential therapy / open spa therapy / pure relaxation: As a special perk, we offer the option of a long-term reservation, i.e., 28 nights at a discounted rate. Electricity, bedding, towels, dressing gowns with changes, Wi-Fi: €1,000/month.

Since 2012, therapeutic climate walks have been offered in Altenau. These are also led by a local climate therapist.
The UNESCO World Heritage Site “Upper Harz Water Management,” with 12 hiking trails covering a total distance of 105.4 km, offers a unique experience.

You’ll find our holiday reception desk at Glockenberg 2 in Altenau. On weekdays, you can visit from 1:00 p.m. to 3:30 p.m., and on weekends by appointment. You can pick up your apartment key from the DIGIBOX outside of business hours.
