"Beautiful country house with lovely architectural features inside and out surrounded by meadows and woods. Close to many other lovely Renaissance castles, romantic little towns and- of course - the Loire. "We had an amazing stay at Mme Sol’s house over Christmas. Unfortunately car trouble meant we were without transport but we spent the time relaxing, enjoying the full kitchen, comfortable lounge, fireplace, games, table tennis and badminton. The house is beautifully furnished, warm and fully equipped - everything has been thought of. Mme Sol and Mme Louchard checked in to make sure we were OK and provided advice and also bikes so we could travel to the village. We wished we could have stayed...

"My friends and I had an amazing stay at this lovely house. Especially the outdoor area was beautiful and the pool was great! The house is just a 10 minute drive from a lovely town and shops for groceries. The hosts even organised for us to go horse-riding at their horse riding school which was a great experience. Overall, we loved our stay and had the great time. Eloïse and her father were a great help when we needed it and they were such lovely people!"

"Ideally situated with just a pleasant 10 minute walk into the town and the chateau. Good access to main roads to visit other chateaux and countryside. Well furnished and decorated flat in a street of old houses. Parking is just around the corner. Francois is a pleasant and helpful host who lives next door to the site and is is on hand to resolve any difficulties or answer any questions. We enjoyed our stay."

"This was a great base for a couple of nights to explore part of the Loire Valley..The little village about 3 km away - Chaumont-Sur-Loire - has several good restaurants, and other shops. The house was very comfortable, spotlessly clean, good sized rooms, and well equipped. The only thing lacking during the hot weather was a fan, so we decided to buy one at the supermarket, (which we have now also used at our next accommodation) Lino was very welcoming and we would happily stay again."

"2 gîtes sans connexion entre eux donc faut passer par dehors pour aller de l'un à l'autre 😥. Gîte 1 rétro et vieillot L'autre Le gîte 2 plus moderne n'a pas de cuisine 😓. Dans les deux gîtes les Chambres ne sont que à l'étage. Avec pour le gîte 2 un accès un peu compliqué (escalier en colimaçon) surtout que les toilettes ne sont que en bas dans les deux gîtes (bof la nuit)⚰️ Pas de volet dans la chambre du gîte 2 donc malgré les rideaux beaucoup de lumière le matin et ça chauffe en journée...

"Beautiful place and people. Frederic is a wonderful host. He allowed early check in and attended to all of our needs. There are stairs to the bedrooms, he carried our luggage up and down. The property vastly exceeds the description and certainty our expectations. There are many châteaux and wineries. Frederic helped us with our itinerary. We would very much love to return."
