"While we didn’t use the kitchen or the pool/hot tub amenity, the unit was perfect for our 2-night stay on our way to another adventure. We ate locally (hollow corner kitchen and banner elk cafe for breakfasts & the pasta joint for dinner - all good) and we hiked Moses Cone Park, Grandfather Mtn and some other waterfall. Great times! The condo was clean, had a very comfortable bed, good tv choices during our evenings, and a very responsive host. This is a nice gem to stay in."

"So this place is really neat. 1st up on mt with beautiful scenery. Very cool staircase. Was so nice to have small kitchen to cook in. Pretty dated but very very neat and clean. 100% recommend "

"Great location! We walked to Fred’s general store and deli. The sledding hill was only a short walk too. We were looking for snow and we found plenty of it there for our kids to enjoy! The place had 2 living rooms and fireplaces which was great. Kids loved playing the arcade game. Kitchen was well equipped. Hot tub on deck by the flowing creek was very relaxing. We saw lots of deer in the front yard and by the creek. Would stay here again! "

"Very nice and comfortable. Great view from the balcony, everything as described. Close to beech mountain, about 1 minute drive or like a 5 minute walk. I will definitely try and stay here again next time I am in the town. "

"The location is excellent. The condition of the house was terrible. Steps leading to the house from the road had broken treads, many lights were out, one of the bedroom lamps had a broken glass base and was unsafe, the bathrooms were all old and rundown, the kitchen did not have enough plates, the garage and grounds were dirty and had garbage throughout, two of the kitchen island bar stools were missing legs and left in a closet, all the furniture was old and rundown, area carpets were dirty and in need of replacement, the internet was slow and the TVs could not connect to streaming services, the deck areas had old ski poles lying around, a wet bag of old charcoal, old sleds, and broken shovels. This overall condition is not only a poor reflection of the owners but also the management company that allows these conditions to exist without correction."

"The view from the property is hard to beat, and Nick was very responsive. The house was expansive and easily accommodated my children, their spouses, and our grandchildren. There were no toys for toddlers but we had brought our own so no big deal. The hot tub experienced some downtime due to the weather being extremely cold before our stay but Nick brought in a tech to fix it. The location is a short drive to both Sugar Mountain and Beech Mountain and the skiing was good early in the day (we had a warm spell)."
