Aerial view of the historic courthouse located in the downtown square of Lancaster, Kentucky.
The Old City Fountain was obtained through the J.W. Fiske Company, New York City. The zinc structure cost $3,215, raised by a local women’s group. The fountain was dedicated on July 17, 1890 and has been in continuous operation since. It is one of two replicas that legend says once stood in Etain, France. The second copy is in Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada.
A beautiful place to shoot if you enjoy aerial photography.
