Staff was friendly enough. The room was a bit dirty. Stains on the floors. Kind of didn't want to touch anything. The halls and stairs were gross. But you get what you pay for I suppose
The room looked just like the pictures and was relatively up-to-date and modern. However, we had significant issues with cleanliness. The floors were so dirty that our socks and my son’s feet turned black. The towels and sheets had stains, so we ended up buying our own blankets from the Target down the road. The towels provided were also very small, more like large rags.
The room had a strong mildew or old smoke smell right when you walk in, likely coming from the old, discolored AC unit. On top of that, the fish tank in the lobby was extremely dirty, and the parking lot felt a bit sketchy.
On a positive note, the staff was very friendly. The toilet lid fell off when we opened it, but the staff quickly addressed and replaced it, even though it was late at night. Overall, it was just okay for the price we paid. If we had paid any more for it, it definitely would not have been worth it.

Stayed here for a short trip and overall the experience was decent, but the property definitely has room for improvement. The staff was polite, professional, and helpful during my stay, which I appreciated.
Parking is a bit limited, especially during busier hours. The rooms could also use some updating and modernization. The bed sheets appeared old and had visible stains/marks that looked like they no longer come out even after washing. The room itself had a somewhat old/funky smell, and the Wi-Fi experience was poor and unreliable during my stay.
Overall, it’s an okay place for a short stay, but management should consider investing more back into the property to improve cleanliness, room quality, and guest comfort.
Better than expected. Room was updated and even had a full size fridge. Loved how convenient it was to the restaurants on either side and even across the street. Tanger was within walking distance but we drove so we didn't have to walk back with bags. There was beautiful hot air balloons in the air both days we were in town. Will definitely stay here again. Only two negatives, no breakfast of any kind and the pool was dirty.
Visited in June and pool was not filled. Hallways are dirty with trash cans overflowing that were not emptied the entire weekend I was there. Room was clean. Location is convenient and walkable to a few chain restaurants.

The person checking us in was extremely pleasant and helpful. The room had trash all over from a previous guest/s. We asked for extra towels for the next morning and found a pile of clean but wet towels in a pile. The sheets had cigaret burns and the hall smelled like a cow pasture.
I really wanted to rate this hotel high but it is extremely dated and worn. Yes everything functions but dear management, it’s time. Gut out the rooms and reface it. There is enough tourism in the area that you can afford to reconstruct. The staff were extremely friendly. The hotel is in the heart of where you want to be but I wouldn’t come back. The room reeked of over use, the towels were like Ajax pads, the carpet is older then dirt, I’m grateful it was only for one night that I needed the room.
Sean/Shawn “I apologize for spelling at the front desk is an awesome man. Five stars service amidst the renovation and opening up the pool. All I cared about was 2 things. A Ice Cold room & Accepts dogs.
Sean and his team, They accommodated both.
So disappointing. Advertised 2 queen beds. Beds were full size. AC sounded like a jet engine when turning on throughout the night. Walls are paper thin so a lot of explaining to do to the kids. When explaining to the staff our concerns they argued with us about how we should be happy we have one of the best rooms there. We checked out without a refund just to get out of there!
it was so bad I couldn't even stay the night, how hotel.com rates this a 7 star I have no clue. It appeared there was about to be renovations because there was piles of boxes all along the corridors and outside. The room was relatively clean but I couldn't handle the smell of smoke. Didnt feel safe enough to stay in.
The lady who checked me in was pleasant and nice. The other staff were fair.
The outside of the property needs to be cleaned and updated. The carpet in the hallway is soiled, the doors and walls need to be cleaned and freshly painted.
The room was just okay. I used Lysol wipes on the handles, remote, light switches, air conditioner and other hard surfaces. The soap dispenser was empty so we had to use the shower gel dispenser to wash our hands with.
Upon checking out, another guest in the lobby told the staff that the light in the lobby bathroom was out.
You cannot receive a replacement for towels and washcloths unless you take your used ones to the lobby, which is an inconvenience.
We will not be returning to this hotel.
This place is a very good value for the money. There is an excellent and helpful staff at the reception desk. The location is excellent. We felt the bathroom and sink areas were functioning very well and were well-maintained. The pool was clean and nice.
We would suggest new mattresses as the current ones are thin and lumpy. We enjoy going to this Red Roof and will return.

The building is old, smell funny, like dog poop.
Staff is not kind, at all.
Maintenance is poor, nobody changed or did beds, even asking at the front desk for fresh towels, never had any response.
