"Overall, I enjoyed the stay. It was very quiet which is probably just lucky. I did not use the pool or gym. Breakfast was a very small self serve room with several people waiting in line so I had to skip it. My biggest complaints are no coffee in the room, the bath towels were not much bigger than hand towels and paper thin, and there was no basic comfortable chair with a back. The chair was a hard stool. I stayed 4 nights and missed having a place to sit and read or take off/put on shoes. Again, I enjoyed the stay, clean, quiet and very friendly staff, but very basic for the price."
"Amazing cabin! Built to look and feel old and rustic but with all the modern amenities you’d want in a vacation home. The owners have added little touches to the stay to make it even more special. It was so private surrounded by pine trees that made it so you couldn’t see any neighbors and they couldn’t see you! I’m not a frequent renter of VRBO properties, but this one is possibly the nicest I’ve ever stayed in! I would recommend it to couples or lone travelers looking for a short escape."
"We never saw or talked to anyone at the property from the time we checked-in until we checked out. They leave a sign with your name on it and instructions on what to do. A lot of stairs and hallways made hauling large luggage awkward. They ask you to take your shoes off on entry. Carrying shoes and hauling luggage was even more awkward. It is easy to slip on the stairs in stocking feet. If you don’t give 48 hours notice you cannot have breakfast. For a boutique hotel they could over some sort of personal touch. Fresh cookies/pastries or hot chocolate/coffee. We felt a little like an imposition than a welcome guest.
Other than that, the property was unique and fun, the rooms were clean. The grounds were nice and the view beautiful,"
"I loved this place! There's so much stuff that comes with a room! The room itself was good, I got a 1 bedroom unit. It was clean, had dishes and silverware and glasses and a kitchen.
Outdoor basketball court, indoor basketball, squash, pickleball, racquet ball, pool, hot tub, sauna, steam room, game room, mini golf ($3 if you're staying at the resort). You can check out fishing rods!
When I'm back in the area I am DEFINITELY staying here!!"
"My wife and I enjoyed our stay even though it was rather short. The owner of this property, Amy was exceptionally customer focused. The reason our trip was so short wasn't anything to do with her, but we had some time issues with our planning and Amy was able to help us to mitigate those problems. I appreciate her being so flexible and willing to help. Highly recommend her place for anybody who's looking for an adorable and well put together rental."
