They are very friendly and courteous and treat everyone as welcomed guests in their home. It is very clean and well maintained! "

Vivanta Kathmandu

Lalitpur

My son & I had an excellent trip to Kathmandu & the people were very gracious to us. We loved the freedom & enthusiasm of everybody especially in the hotel of yours. Nothing was too much trouble for anybody there. A special thanks to Rakesh Malalar for his new found friendship with myself & my Son Wesley. Even the other 2 men that we actually invited to stay there were so impressed that they-[being near in India] have asked for the rates per day-so they may come there along with us possibly more...

Tajaa Pha The Heritage Home

Lalitpur

10/10 Excellent

Tajaa Pha SHOULD be using a photo from their rooftop garden as their hero-pic....! It's where had a lovely breakfast each day, served by Saiendra our excellent host, and his daughter Shia. We loved this view - just far enough above the noisy maelstrom that is Kathmandu. And - in SUCH a great part of this city - Patan, the old kingdom, which we came to know quite well - from the brilliant Patan Museum, to the junior ping-pong comp we stumbled across one evening. Cannot speak highly enough - our...

Shakya House

Lalitpur

10/10 Excellent

Shakya House is in walking distance......10 minutes at most from Durbar Square. The walk itself is very interesting as it is the very old area of Patan and every moment there are amazing sights to see. It is also only 10/15 minute from a large supermarket that has everything you my need. It is well worth the stay as the owner and the staff are very welcoming and will do anything to help. As the sign says... come as a guest and leave as a friend.
