Better than expected

Lovely holiday home, the pictures don't show how spacious the house is. We enjoyed the swimming pool and table tennis. Clean, well stocked with everything you need, plus a dvd player which isn't mentioned. The owners left us alone (except for leaving a bowl of tasty plums on the doorstep) but we had contact details if needed.Good location for visiting the Bastide Villages which are beautiful. We would definitely recommend but make sure you take insect repellent spray, we did get bitten !!

Belle maison mais nécessite de l'entretien

La maison correspondait en tous points à la description. Spacieuse et a priori bien équipée. Toutefois on sent que certains équipements sont clairement en "bout de course". Un lit enfant cassé, une friteuse qui ne fonctionne pas, la TV non plus, le toaster non plus (ou presque), la piscine fuyait nécessitant de devoir la remplir très souvent (la température s'en ai ressenti), literie très fatiguée. Dommage car pour le reste la maison était très agréable ainsi que les gestionnaires de la location. Sentiment mitigé après ces 2 semaines.

Magnifique

Nous avons adoré séjourner à la Gaubide. La maison est très agréable, on s’y sent tellement bien. Elle est spacieuse, bien équipée et reste fraîche les jours de grosses chaleurs. Le jardin est superbe et la piscine tellement agréable. Beaucoup de calme… tout ce que nous souhaitions. Il y a tout autour de beaux villages à visiter et tout ce qu’il faut pour faire les courses. Bref séjour sans faute

Le site est génial pour se reposer et profiter en famille. L’état général de la maison est bon ainsi que les équipements. Seul bémol s’il en faut un la literie qui a trop vécue.

Idéal pour des vacances ne famille et entre amis

Nous avons eu un très beau temps et avons donc pu profiter de la piscine qui est tout à fait adaptée pour 8 personnes. La maison est au calme, bel environnement autour. De plus pas besoin, de faire beaucoup de route pour voir des beaux sites. Pour profiter de la rivière et de la Dordogne ne général, il faut rouler un peu plus mais même sans cela, la maison reste très bien.

Die Aussicht vom Grundstück mi...

Die Aussicht vom Grundstück mit Pool und schönem Baumbestand in die Hügellandschaft des Périgord ist ganz wunderbar. Leider ist das Grundstück nur mittelprächtig gepflegt und die Ansprechpartner für Übergabe etc. nicht sehr engagiert. Als Ausgangspunkt für Ausflüge, Marktbesuche, Weineinkäufe bestens geeignet. Reisetipps: Natürlich muss man alle Bastiden rundum und das Château Biron besuchen. Der beste und größte Markt ist in Villereal (Sa.). Mit lokalem Charme, sehr klein und komplett "untouristisch" ist der in Beaumont (Di). Schönes Ambiente hat auch der in Monpazier (Do.), dort kann man auch am Marktplatz gut essen (Galerie M). Bester Restaurant–Tipp: La Brucelière in Issigeac – ausgezeichnet! Das Keramik–Geschirr stammt von der Töpferin schräg gegenüber, die Gläser von der guten Glasbläserei am Ortseingang: viele Kunsthandwerker in Issigeac! "Pflichtlektüre" für's Périgord: Die Krimis von Martin Walker mit "Bruno, Chef de Police" ;–).

Die Einführung durch den Vermi...

Die Einführung durch den Vermieter war eher spärlich. Vieles mussten wir selbst heraus finden. Eine Möglichkeit zum Heizen des sehr großen Hauses gestaltete sich etwas schwierig auf Grund nicht resp. schlecht funktionierender Petroleumöfen (unangenehmer Geruch). Die Poolabdeckung, die in Frankreich Pflicht ist, war nur mit großem Kraftaufwand machbar und der Einstieg in den Pool ist eine Stufe zu kurz. Alles andere war für uns perfekt. Alle Geräte funktionierten einwandfrei. Küchenausstattung perfekt unddie Matratzen ermöglichten, kombiniert mit der totalen Ruhe rund um das Haus ein hervorragendes Schlafen Reisetipps: Die Bastidenstädtchen rund um Lalandusse sind alle eine Reise wert. Für Freunde alter Kultur gibt es extrem viel zu entdecken (z.B. Lascaux II) Ansonsten sind die kulinarischen Genüsse mindestens eine Reise wert!!!Es wird nicht unser letzter Aufenthalt dort gewesen sein. Vielleicht gibt es bei dem Pool einmal eine Verbesserung, das wäre toll.
