"The property was attractive and clean but not as advertised and without running water. I don't know if this is normal for Corfu, but the water supply failed every day, sometimes for more than 20 hours, so we could not flush the toilets, have a shower or run the dishwasher. The property owners were charming and keen to help, phoning the authorities every time we notified them, but it did mean we sometimes felt we were camping rather than staying in a house.
