The house is located in an amazing cove on Lake Rabun. The house is adequate to sleep lots of guest and the beds were clean and comfortable. However, there was an ant problem in the kitchen, door handle broken to guest house, chair broken, rotten wood, and the air filters needed cleaning. The house needs some repairs in my opinion before renting to other guest. We did report all of these issues and the vacasa rental was quick to reply, so hopefully they will take the time to repair the house.

Family Reunion on the lake
My family and I enjoyed 6 days on this beautiful lake. It's hard to find a property that will accommodate our large family but the main house and the boat house comfortably did. The lake was clean and there were kyacks and tubes for all of us to enjoy. The kitchen was well stocked with enough cookware and place settings for our large group. We loved eating together on the screened in porch. The only down side to our stay is that we were without water for a couple days due to the system they have. They did eventually fix the problem and assured me that they were going to take steps so this won't happen in the future. In spite of this problem, we have very fond memories of our time on this lake property.
Great place for multiple families, however 1 house is new and updated, but the other 2 kitchen/ living areas are very outdated and old feeling. The main community toilet in the main house clogged up after 1 use, I spoke to management through text, it was handled by a plumber, but it did take almost 24 hours to get fixed and was very unable for half of the trip. The kitchen is well stocked with supplies but could use updated utensils and cook wear. The fire pit, hot tub, boat, life jackets of all sizes available and in working order. The lake and environment are absolutely breathtaking and overall, amazing home and location! We would go back! Thank you! ❤️
Nice weekend getaway with enough room for 4 families to enjoy the beautiful north Georgia mountains.

Nice place if it were clean
Being located on the lake, it is a beautiful place to entertain a large family (there were 17 of us). The biggest problem was arriving to find dead roaches, gnats, stink bugs and spiders that needed to be swept up before we could settle in. The amount of cobwebs in the house indicated to me that it hadn’t been thoroughly cleaned in a while. We reported the issues when we arrived on Monday and weren’t offered cleaning services until Wednesday afternoon. By then we had swept and wiped things down. The place is in need of maintenance. There are 3 separate living areas and the entrance to the upper level of the boat house is very cluttered. Throughout the property there are things that just simply need to be cleaned and better maintained. They advertise a hot tub, but it wasn’t functional. I have requested a refund of my cleaning deposit as well as compensation for the hot tub not being functional and have not received a response.

Not a good start!
Cleaning company was just wrapping up when we arrived a little after check-in. Both houses were rented under one reservation; one for us and one for our friends. There was only one pass code given for the electronic door locks. Unfortunately, we were not given a pass code for our adjacent guest residence. When I called Vacasa, I eventually got through and they gave me several different numbers to try before one finally worked. We thought it was a minor hiccup until we realized the only way to get to the downstairs was with another electronic key pad. We went through the same thing for this lock and it was about 45 minutes later in the sweltering heat that we were able to get into the downstairs of the guest house with another passcode. I was embarrassed that the vacation I had planned for my friends was starting off this way. All the luggage was unloaded and stacked by the door while my friends were dripping in sweat waiting for me to fix the issue so they could get into the property. I thought, surely Vacasa would recognize their error by only sending one keypad code, I asked if there could be any compensation for my guests having such an uncomfortable 45 minute wait before getting into their vacation rental. After filling out a report and hearing nothing back from the Vacasa, I called them when our vacation was over in order to find out that there was nothing they were willing to do. Disappointing!
