Perfect property and location for a 2-day stay. Moved our son into his residence hall and this property was very conveniently located near his university. Fenced in back yard was great for our fur baby.
Great stay. Good communication with host. Nice size fenced-in backyard for the dogs. Short walk to Lake Hollingsworth for a 3 mile walk around the lake.
It was the perfect place for a weekend stay with my son, parents, and their small dog. Big backyard for the dog to do her thing. 1/4 mile walk down to the paved walking/jogging trail that goes 2.9 miles around a beautiful lake. The neighborhood and area are very nice, right next to Florida Southern College, and a short drive to downtown.
This is a small, comfortable home with a large fenced back yard for the dogs. We were visiting our son and family in Lakeland and the home made for a comfortable place to stay at night. Our host was very responsive to any queries. The home is very close to Florida Southern College and would be great for parents dropping off or visiting students. Don’t miss seeing the campus with its 13 Frank Lloyd Wright buildings on campus —National Historic Landmark for the largest collection of this architect’s buildings .
Our host was very gracious & I would definitely like to stay here on any future trips! It's an attractive house with good heat & air, very comfortable & well maintained. Pretty view of a lake from the back deck. Loved the brick street & access to beautiful Lake Hamilton. You can definitely tell the host puts a lot of effort into making her clients comfortable in this clean home. Thank you Chrissanne!
Absolute perfect little house to stay in while bringing our daughter to college. Wonderful little neighborhood. House was clean, cool and had what we needed. The fenced back yard for our dog was great! Beds were cozy. Host was very kind and responsive. We will be back!
This property was great geographically and was maintained nicely

Room for Improvement
The property actually has the potential to provide a great stay, but my stay was unfortunately a disappointment—the entire house, kitchen, cabinetry, cookware, everything, etc. was covered in cat fur from the previous guest. It must have been in the a/c ducts too because I immediately developed sinus problems and a rash—I’m assuming from all the pet dander. The a/c also struggled to cool the house. But, I do think my stay might have been out of the ordinary. Shortly after booking my reservation and paying in full, I received a call from the host saying the house was left in poor condition by the previous guest but she assured me everything would be cleaned. Obviously not the case. I’m sure the host had good intentions, and I think/hope this wouldn’t be the norm for future guests. The host is very polite, the lawn and everything outside was perfect, but the interior honestly needs a DEEP cleaning. Ideally, I would be grateful for a partial refund.
