"If you love old florida properties like I do this is paradise. The garden and patio where breakfast is served by the pool was beautiful. The rooms were renovated and the bathroom in ours was large and comfortable. Bed was great..walking distance to downtown lake work restaurants and clubs and a 5 minute drive to the beach. No junk fees. Easy parking. Charming residential neighborhood by a fold.course. I plan to come back"

"I don't normally write reviews but this place was such a great deal I wanted to make a point of it. It started out a little annoying in that they kept calling me to find out when I would arrive. They just wanted me to know how to get in the room after hours. They could have just emailed that info or texted it but anyway, they just wanted to make sure I knew. Once at the hotel the folks at the desk were super nice and friendly, the room was clean and new (they are remodeled), the bed was comfy, just a great room. Parking was easy. The pool looked sparkling. There was even a small continental breakfast I wasn't expecting. Just a really clean nice place and super nice people, for a great price! Not a lot of frills, but this place is the definition of a great deal to me."

"His place was disgusting- in disrepair , split door frame- dirty room floors, , walls, no plates or silverware or hair dryer despite what is shown on website, free breakfast- sausage, egg, toast every day, no tea or milk . only coffee and one day not opened due to illness but no sign posted. , room not cleaned one day ,"

"Totally enjoyed my stay room was very clean and everything you needed was there. Instructions for entry were very easy and The host Melinda takes time to talk with every guest , would definitley reccomend. This is a return location"

"Neither the front or back entrance of the property is wheelchair accessible. There is about a 6 inch threshold in the front doorway. It was a detail that I overlooked in the picture of the front of the property. Once inside it was wheelchair accessible aside from the bathrooms. If the owner provided a 3 foot removable ramp to be available for use that would solve the accessibility issue. I’m a power chair wheelchair user and after many late delayed flights arrived to the property very late. A friend in the area was able to three hour deliver a ramp from Amazon or I would not have been able to access the property. Otherwise the property was modern, clean, and conveniently located. Owner was responsive to messaging. I should’ve asked more questions. However, in the future to advertise as wheelchair accessible, I would recommend providing a ramp. Thank you."

"We had a few issues and tried to contact the host the morning after we arrived. However, the VBRO app kept giving a “something’s wrong” notice. I was only able message the host the second night of our 3 day stay. Even then, the app was wonky and not working. The host reached out via Messenger and we worked together to resolve the issues. "
