Holiday Inn Express & Suites N Waco Area - West by IHG
2/10 Terrible
"The place was filthy. No place for my dog to potty. There was filth in the bathroom especially. The parking area was good.
I repeatedly asked the staff to clean my room. When I arrived I entered the elevator and the door had bad stuff on the door.
I asked to speak to the manager and was told he wasn’t available. Ever. I spent two nights out of the five that were booked.
The television channels didn’t include any major networks or any local news.
Overall, it was the worse two nights I have ever spent. "
"The bathroom in our room needed cleaning and updating! Staff was very friendly and knowledgeable. Suggested a great Mexican food restaurant within walking distance. It looked like there was new carpet, which certainly helped the appearance of the room. "
Perfect Getaway On The River Yet Minutes Drive To Magnolia And Waco Attractions
10/10 Excellent
"Wow! What a perfect stay! We visited our Baylor Bear for Easter and found this cozy, clean, beautiful gem. It was absolutely perfect for our family. A short drive to downtown Waco, but far enough away that we could enjoy the stars at night and the beautiful surroundings during the day. There is a small grocery store and a few fast food restaurants within 10 minutes of the house. The kids loved sleeping in the sunroom and waking to the sound of birds in the morning. We also enjoyed the sunroom for family time with the provided games and puzzles. We enjoyed our morning coffee, lunch and played evening board games on the screened-in patio. We brought our kayak and our kids had a blast on the river while we sat by the campfire, relaxed and read. The large yard was perfect for playing yard games and catch. Miss Linda was the perfect host, very responsive and helpful. She even made a special trip to the house to let us borrow an axe since we forgot ours so we could chop wood for our camp fire. You can tell she has put so much thought and heart into the home with the little added touches from bottled water and granola bars, to plenty of towels, throw blankets, books, magazines and a nightlight in the bathroom. If you are looking for a place to relax and unwind, look no further, I guarantee this lovely home will be as much of a blessing to your family as it was ours. "
"The setting was beautiful and very good for our family. Unfortunately, due to septic issues, we were unable to let the kids/pets into the backyard, couldn't enjoy the fire pit and were without plumbing for a while. This could have been prevented."
"Room was clean and comfy bed but stayed next to elevator and the walls are thin, you could hear the cable up and down, and property is looking old. Breakfast was ok, something to get you going until you get to next Bucces. Staff was nice. One night stay, passing thru. "
"Parking & security, with bright lights. Thats what made me make the choice so easy to stay. Slept better knowing my property & vehicle were safe. Thank you for all your Hospitality. "
