"We enjoyed our stay overall—the location is incredible and the views are stunning. The top floor is beautiful, though it could use some maintenance.The deck has amazing views but needs major repairs. The outdoor recliners are quite old, and the umbrella was broken. Downstairs is spacious, but the bedding wasn’t very comfortable, and having to bring our own linen at this price was unexpected.There is direct access to the lake, but the path is extremely steep—only very fit people would manage the walk down and especially back up.We also experienced a power outage, which meant no electricity or water for around seven hours since the pump relies on power. For a house of this size, a backup generator is essential. It took 1.5 hours to get a response from the host, the phone number listed was disconnected, and we were told there was no generator or local support. A clear emergency plan and a reachable local contact are needed.The property has amazing potential, and with some maintenance and better emergency support, it could be an exceptional stay."

The following amenities needed attentionA light in the bathroom didn't work The secondary blind was broken above the bed so we couldnt get the flow through of air especially needed when it was a hot day,There was no shelf in the shower for shampoo, soap etc, Alot of insects entered the property when the outside light was on at night so maybe something to attract then away from the doorA water container for distressed birds on very hot days would be nice"

"Nature at its best! The property was clean and had everything in it. We received a welcome board with some beautiful jam, coffee pods and soaps but the kangaroo food was an extra touch. Kids were super excited. The pool and spa kept the kids entertained, loved the use of free bikes to ride, and kayaks etc. just a wonderful couple of days. "
