"At the time that we stayed there, construction was under way in the office area. The attendants were very friendly. The beds were clean but there was a gap under our door where debris was coming in from. The door was not quite level with frame. It looked like it was “quickly” cleaned but not great. We stayed for 2 nights visiting with family."

"Two families came together (4 adults, 3 kids ages 8, 13, 16) and had an amazing time at the lake. We came from San Diego to visit family near Dallas and wanted it to feel like a vacation for them too, hence our trip to Lake Texoma. After much research, we landed here and were not disappointed!The house had everything we needed, the description of where things were and how far was spot on (the provided maps helped too!) and we were very happy. The kids loved the bunk room, we all enjoyed the game garage. We did it all...walked to the fishing spot (although we honestly never really got around to the fishing we intended), walked to the sandy beach (yes, it is public land! Thanks for the beach chairs.), went to Lighthouse Marina and rented jet skis (brought to us by Anchor Up), paddleboards and kayak (local at the marina) and also went to an awesome inflatable obstacle course (Willow Springs Marina, highly recommend) on the OK side in Mead, complete with floating cabana. EVERYONE had an amazing time. My favorite peaceful moment was sitting on the covered back porch, sipping morning coffee and listening to cicadas and watching deer. Just awesome!!Only suggestion for improvement, I may have missed it but please mention in the description that the grill is charcoal (we erroneously assumed propane, but no worries, the little Aloha market just down the road had everything we needed!)Thank you for a wonderful vacation, different than what we typically do, but oh so wonderful!"
