First time booking accommodation in the area as opposed to staying with friends. Easy, very friendly service. Expectations of the property and operation etc are straight forward and understandable. Property looks to have been renovated since original. In my opinion, sets a high standard for a motel accommodation. I booked the room with the spa and was very happy with my experience!

Had a fantastic 4 days here in Jan 24. Nothing was too much trouble for the hosts. The hosts were welcoming, the unit was spotless, parking was easy, the view of the lakefront was fantastic. The owners go the extra mile and nothing was a problem. We will definitely stay here again.

Recommended a trip to an old chateaux out of town (awesome views) and breakfast place the next morning. Booked and checked in within 30 mins of booking. View from my front door.

Only got to stay 1 night but would have definitely booked more. We loved our stay. The rooms was nice and had everything we needed and more the spa in the room was a huge bonus! Loved it and really enjoyed the soak also the bed was very comfortable with extra blanket and pillow. Right on the lake front and beautiful views also had a lovely lady check us in and show us to our room. I also really enjoyed the biscuits in the room thank you so much for our stay. Highly recommend

Quality of the cleaning was below average. Couch was very old and uncomfortable, should be replaced.

Hi Sharon,We generally appreciate all forms of feedback, positive or negative and in this case you haven't given us any constructive criticism or anything to improve on, rather you have just disregarded our furniture . We understand the couches are old and we have already started replacing them. We are surprised that you found our cleanness below average. If you would have told us before leaving we would have appreciated it. but you forgot to mention about the comfortable king size bed, awesome water pressure in the shower, the private hot pool and the yummy homemade cookies. Lovely friendly check in service . Room was well presented and nice and clean. Had its own hot tub which was nice it would of been a but nicer if it was hotter but just a personal experience as i love them hot as lol but a lovely stay

Was great having a lovely room for my partner and 5 kids. Plenty of space, good facilities and very clean. Lake is straight across the road and handy to the bar and restaurants and shopping area.

This is lovely property to stay at, accommodation is clean, comfortable and modern. The owners are absolutely lovely to deal with and supply amazing homemade shortbread for your cuppa. There is also a permanent coffee and a hotdog cart setup durectly opposite and a swim in the lake is 10 metres away

Hot pools, lake views, and homemade cookies
We had a lovely relaxing stay in Taupo. It was a bit chilly and sometimes rainy, but with fantastic views of the lake, we enjoyed just relaxing and watching the changing clouds, lake, ducks, and scenery. The private hot pool was icing on the cake!

Amazing stay. The hosts and staff were so friendly and helpful, nothing was a problem. Room was clean and exactly as shown. The bed was so comfortable. Love waking up to the amazing view across the lake and going for a walk grabbing a coffee from the coffee cart across the road then heading into town. Totally recommend to everyone and can't wait to come stay again.

Absolutely beautiful spot right across from Lake Taupo. Private spa pool was hot needed to leave the covers off after 5 pm to make it bearable in the evening otherwise it would get too hot but apart from that a fabulous stay - will be back !
