"Highly recommend- one of the nicest hotels I’ve stayed at, especially considering the price. Huge room, with plenty of pace for a family of 4- teenage kids that needed space to work on school work and have their own space. Hotel was very clean, modern and one of the best free breakfasts I’ve ever had. Breakfast staff were very attentive and welcoming. The toiletry items were very nice- Crabtree and Evelyn- great touch! Can’t say enough, definitely will stay here again when in this area"

"Overall, I had a very good stay and would stay again. I would say that, for basically every category, it would have been excellent except for some detail, most of which could be improved fairly easily. My room was spacious and very clean, except one night I dropped the tv remote between the bed and nightstand. I reached under the bed to pick it up and my fingers closed around...a kiwi. Quite mushy so had probably been there awhile. Breakfast was very good with a few more options than your typical hotel buffet but they are only open until 9 AM, including on weekends. On Sunday, I arrived for breakfast around 8:40 and it was mobbed- no place to sit, lines for food, and they ran out of items repeatedly. The kitchen staff was great and replenished everything quickly but this all could be fixed easily by doing what most hotels do and extending breakfast by an hour on weekends. The main problem for me altogether was the wifi. First of all, guests have to jump through some hoops to connect to wifi in the first place. It was not difficult but definitely more involved than any other place I've stayed. And I really wouldn't have minded except that the wifi kicked me off every time I closed my laptop, left the hotel and returned, or went more than 30 minutes or so without using it. I had to reconnect at least half a dozen times per day. They do have a business center, which I did not use because the meetings I had required privacy. The wifi in the business center might be better."

"I flew in that morning and originally booked the Sheraton which was so aesthetically bad I checked out 30 minutes later. Fast Forward, I called a friend(which is what I should’ve done originally, but was thrown off by the photos), he led me to the Hilton. As soon as I walked in it smelled so good and a Brandee at the front desk and the rest of the staff was so amazing at check in. The hallways were well manicured and just clean inside like it should be. We had access to the Executive Suite where the free snacks, drinks , coffee and just a quiet place to chill, watch tv and study if you have to. Can’t leave out the sleeping part—bed mattress was so comfortable you won’t want to get up. I can go on, but the Hilton Main will be my go to from now on when I go to Norfolk. You won’t. Be disappointed. 💯💯💯💯"
