Olympic Condo - Whiteface Club Resort - Views - Jackrabbit Trail - STR 200356

  • Olympic Resort Condominiums were built in the late 1970’s to be used specifically for housing the competing athletes in the 1980 Winter Olympics. Olympic Condo was recently remodeled to include two bedrooms and one bath with an open floor plan that offers golf course and mountain views, a dining area, well equipped kitchen, living area and glass sliders leading to a covered balcony.
    Whiteface Club & Resort on the shore of Lake Placid lake offers amenities for the whole family on a fee basis including a full-service Marina, two restaurants, an 18-hole Championship golf course, 6 clay Tennis courts, hiking and biking trails. Winter offers cross country skiing on groomed trails through the golf course, back country skiing on the Jackrabbit trail system, snowshoeing, ice skating and tubing.
    The resort is a short two-mile drive to the Olympic Village of Lake Placid for exploring the Olympic venues, shopping and restaurants. Nine miles to Whiteface Mountain for skiing, mountain biking during the summer months or taking a gondola ride to see the views of the Adirondack wilderness. Cross Country Ski at the Olympic Complex/Mt. Vanhoevenberg, try a Bobsled or Luge run on the original Olympic tracks or Ice Skate on the Olympic Oval. Lake Placid has it all.

    Main street is few minutes away by car. Managed by property owner, very accessible.

Our stay at Olympic Condo was wonderful - Dan was a very communicative and responsive host, especially as we had to leave early because of an injury while at Adk Loj property. We loved the condo, with great views of the forests, access to the beautiful gardens and views down at Lake Placid, comfortable accommodations, including a well-equipped kitchen. Comfy Adirondack’s Stay

Great stay at a perfect location!

This is a great place to vacation. The condo was equipped with everything we needed which made things very convenient. The location is great, so close to Lake Placid and minutes to some of the major destinations. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking to stay visit Lake Placid, it is close enough but just far enough out of the hustle and bustle.

Perfect spot in the Adirondacks

We had another great stay in this condo on the north end of Lake Placid. We love the location - near the Jack Rabbit trail and several great hikes. We also like to be close to Saranac lake. The condo has all you need to relax and our host was quick to respond.

Lovely stay the first time we came back a year later!

We had a great time yet again. Despite the warmer and rainy weather, it still was a great trip and we managed to get in a lot of skiing and other activities and then relax at the condo in the afternoons and evenings. Lovely place, updated and in a great location.
