Classic large Lake Placid Village home perfect for large groups

Newly renovated village home on Parkside Drive with large driveway and parking for 5 cars.

Welcoming front yard and porch. Original Douglas Fir and Red Pine flooring, with closets throughout. Front entrance of first floor has breezeway leading into expansive full kitchen with dishwasher, microwave, electric stove, and ample cupboards. Full bathroom with tub and shower. 2 tastefully decorated bedrooms that have 1 King and 1 Queen size mattress. Large furnished living room with Smart TV and fast Wi-Fi throughout the house. Rear entrance has office and laundry area.

Upstairs there are 4 bedrooms. One bedroom with1 King size bed, and bedrooms with 3 Queen size beds. There is also one full bathroom upstairs.

In total there are 6 bedrooms. 2 King size and 4 Queen size mattresses with one bed per bedroom. There is also an inflatable bed that can be put in a larger bedroom if there are more than 12 guests.

The house can also be rented along with the 2 bedroom cottage next door for larger groups. Send me a message for more information.

The neighborhood is a quiet tree lined street with Mt. Peak Views. It is a wonderful location in walking distance to the Village Shops, Lakes, Golf Course, and Walking Trails.

Our group enjoyed the stay here. It was centrally located & we were able to bike. Driveway held most of our vehicles, beds were comfortable. Had a good time.

The house was perfect for a large party. Everyone had their own room. Beds were comfortable. Kitchen was well stocked so we could make breakfast each morning. A short walk to town. Josh was easy to communicate with. Would highly recommend!

Enjoyable stay for Ironman Week

We rented the house for a week and had a great time in Lake Placid. The house is close to everything. Well stocked and well taken care of. Everything was clean when we arrived. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook for the group and the listing matched the house well.

Comfy vibes

This home away from home had everything we needed. The bathroom was newly redone & the kitchen had plenty of space for us. Very conveniently located to the Olympic Arena. We would highly recommend staying here (instead of hotel) if you like having your own room - 6 bedrooms were more than enough for our two families. Slept great!

Whiteface Mountain Overnight Stay

The house was exactly as it was listed. Very homey and comfortable. We did have trouble finding the house at first as we couldn’t see the house number very easily, but the gentleman working on the house next door was super friendly and helpful. The house was just a 10 minute walk to Main St which was very convenient. We would definitely recommend to anyone looking to stay in Lake Placid!

Perfect place

Everything worked out beautifully for our group. We had a large group of eight people and we were all able to have our own bedrooms as there were two couples. One person had a knee injury, so being able to use one of the bedrooms on the first floor worked out well. House is conveniently located, as right in town. Parking was easy , we just moved cars as needed. Owner was very responsive and easy to work with. Would rent again.

Beyond expectations

Josh’s home was an ideal choice for our family gathering of 9 adults and 2 dogs. It was in a perfect location for walking to the lake, LP Brewery, into town and enjoying everything that Lake Placid has to offer. It was well equipped and very clean. I honestly didn’t want to leave. We spent much of our time on the spacious front porch, enjoying the view and the neighborhood. I highly recommend Josh’s place for a large group and hope to return one day.

Great house a block from Mirror Lake. This is a fantastic location for Ironman Lake Placid. Loved our stay, front porch is great, nicely appointed kitchen, and Josh was very attentive and quick to respond to questions via text. Would highly recommend this house.

Large house in great location!

Wow! This house did not disappoint. We had a large group - and this place was perfect. Great bedrooms, nice eat in kitchen, living room and front porch, very clean. Walking distance to everything downtown, which is convenient when dealing with so many people. Host was very communicative & responded quickly to all my questions. I would highly recommend booking this home, or any location from this host!

Great location

Overall this house met our needs. We really enjoyed our stay. 1. Pros: Location is perfect. Within walking distance to Main St. Perfect size for 10-12 people. Great family room. Well stocked House was very clean when we arrived Owner was fantastic. Very responsive. Check in and check out were very easy. Good size bedrooms for an older home. 2. Areas to Improve: It was tough to regulate the temperature in some rooms. Although considering it's an old house, that's not unusual. Some upstairs mattresses need to be replaced. Very creaky and not very comfortable. Mattresses downstairs were much better. Overall it was a nice house, which could be 5 stars with a little updating.
