Lake June Escape House

Escape the hustle and bustle of life at our beautiful Lake June in Winter home, The Escape House. Nestled on the deep water cove with a huge focus on the outdoor space. We have an expansive dock and boat house with plenty of room to tie up your boat and watercraft. There is an outdoor pavilion with picnic tables and 3 different grilling areas, a sundeck for lounging, and a covered and screened in porch to relax.

Lake June is a sandy bottom, fresh water lake know for boating, skiing, wakeboarding, surfing, fishing, and all types of water activities.

We provide kayaks, paddleboards, life jackets and a place to dock your boat.

Our home is well stocked with towels, beach towels, linens, kitchen supplies.

There are 7 bedrooms, 3 of which have bunk beds for the kids, twin/full. The rest of the bedrooms all have new queen matresses.

There are plenty of bathrooms too!

We have 2 full kitchens and plenty of sitting areas to relax. The home is equipped with 5 smart TVs so you can stream your favorite shows and movies. High speed comcast wifi available for you as well.

In the evenings, when you come off the lake, enjoy some pool, ping ping, and darts in the well equipped game room.

For those of you with an EV, we have a Tesla Wall Charger and a Standard Wall Charger, so no worries finding a place to charge your vehicle!

We really tried to think of it all and provide the perfect escape!

Please note, There are prime weeks during the year where we have a 7 night minimum stay. The balance of the year we have a 3 night minimum stay. If there are dates you are interested in taking and would like to request an exception to the 7 night minimum, please message me. If I can do it, I will try to accommodate your needs.

We are coming back! Incredibly fun lake house, well stocked, tons of amenities. The owner was super accommodating and accessible. We ran into a basic amenity issue and the owner was on it fast and had it fixed before we could wake up.Our family had a range of ages from 3 to 75. All ages had fun. The kids were addicted to fishing and caught a ton of fish off the dock. They had multiple grills. The covered pavilion was amazing for seating at 18 of us for dinner. Perfect trip for large families.

Very large house with plenty of room for a large family. Outside cooking and dock area has been well thought out and was wonderful. The life jackets and kayak was great for host to have there for use. Great house on Lake June.

Perfect for Family Gatherings

The property is perfectly suited for large family gatherings. We had enough space to comfortably sleep two large families with children and two older couples. The game room, seating areas, and outdoor space was perfect to entertain for a long weekend. The three fridges and very well stocked kitchen kept us smoothly serving all meals. The kayaks and paddle boards were a ton of fun, too, and the life jackets, tackle, rods, and towels were great to have ready to use. Wonderful stay!

Fantastic place for a family reunion!!!

The Lake June escape house was a fantastic place to have our family reunion. It was clean and well outfitted for a great time. There were plenty of beds a game room with lots of activities for the kids and adults, and a beautiful lake. We enjoyed the kayaks and paddle boards. The kids enjoyed jumping off the platform and using the rope swing. . We had a great time around the fire pit. Pretty much everything was provided so we had to bring very little other than food. We had such a good time. We’re hoping to come again for another family get together.

Great family place

We spent thanksgiving week at the house. It was a great location that allowed us to enjoy the time together but have our own spots per family. Host was great and the home was exactly what we expected.

Great Lake House

The pictures do not do justice to this house and the lake views. Absolutely loved my stay here in a very clean home with great amenities! This place can easily host a few families or group of friends on a getaway trip. Would definitely stay here again!

Celebrating Family

Circumstance took us to Lake June and it turned out to be a great vacation. 8 adults and 3 kids from CA, AR, SC and FL had a wonderful week. Plenty of beds, space, dishes, refrigeration, outdoor space and we lucked up with sunshine for 7 days after Christmas! Communication with our host was great. Highly recommended!!

Family New Year Celebration

We had an amazing time , the house was wonderful and location was perfect . It had a side yard fenced in for dogs, beautiful outdoor with 2 BBQ Grills , plenty of seating inside and out . Publix 5 minutes away. Would definitely go back!

Great Lake house for larger groups.

We’ve stayed at more than a few lake houses on lake June, and this one had a great layout for a large group. There was plenty of space for everyone, and some nice extras for the kids. The use of the kayaks and life jackets was a great bonus. The boat dock was in good shape, making boat activities easy. Overall, we had a great time, and the property had pretty much everything you could want. We will book it again next year.

In town for a wedding

Great house for 14 family members in town for our sons wedding that was held on the other side of Lake June. Kids swam in the lake as the adults relaxed on the dock! We brought our own boat and were able to tie off on the dock, boat ramp access minutes away.

Perfect for our group

Everything was great…the house is very well thought out so that everyone has their spaces with access to bathrooms. It’s very close to town and has a beautiful view and lakefront yard. The owners have thought of every detail to make sure guests are comfortable during their stay & we’re very attentive to any needs or questions. It’s not glamorous but spacious & comfortable. We would highly recommend!

Great Family Vacation

The property was accurately described and was the perfect location for my husband's 70th birthday. The host was available for questions, and the property was well stocked. The only negative was the noise from the second floor to the first floor. It was hared to sleep downstairs if anyone was walking on the hard floors downstairs. Besides that, it was a great long weekend.

House was fine. Owner communication was excellent. Kayaks were a great addition, along with the dock and beach. Everyone enjoyed being in the water. We did not use the kitchen for dinner but it appeared to have plenty of pots and pans.Bought ice as there was limited supply. Plenty of space in the multiple freezers.One negative was the bath towel request. Bath towels needing to be washed dryed and put away before departing was a burden. This rule was not stated until the checkin information was sent. I think that information should have been included up front. First time I have ever encountered that requirement and since we were flying out of Orlando, i would have considered other rentals. Had we been able to stay til checkout time it probably wouldnt have mattered.

FABULOUS HOME & FABULOUS HOSTS!

I'm so late on my review SO SORRY Doug, I rent many many homes in the Sebring area. Trust me when I say, if you like beautiful views, awesome lake frontage, spotless, comfortable and great decor, a great kitchen for making awesome family meals together, this place IS FOR YOU. I had several team members sharing and these are FUSSY travelers who are not impressed easily. They were grateful and most happy that I put them here. Made my job easy. Fantastic, accomodating hosts, great communication. THANK YOU Doug!!

Our Family's Great Escape Vacation

This was our family's second stay at Doug's Lake June property. I think everyone enjoyed this visit even more than the first. Doug is a great host who truly wants your stay to be a wonderful memory. When we had a problem or concern, he would get back to us as quickly as possible. We did bring a boat, which for a family of our size was essential in the summer. Our little ones (toddler twins and a three year old, and a five year old) loved playing in the water where a little sandy beach is adjacent to the boathouse and dock. The house is perfect for large gatherings (plus outside, a screened-in dining area separate from the house with gas grills, and a fire pit). There are so many thoughtful amenities are provided, from water craft, beach toys, to fluffy beach towels. The property is big with beautiful views. Amazing sunsets! It's a great place to get away and have fun.
