Family Friendly Grand Getaway in the middle of Historic Lake Placid!

Location, Location, Location! Our second Getaway in Lake Placid is in the heart of the Hillcrest area of Lake Placid. We are a luxury rental with full amenities and details designed for our Getaway to feel like your home away from home. Fully furnished and outfitted with everything you need to enjoy and create experiences while visiting. Cookies and hot cocoa included along with all linens, towels, soaps, cooking utensils, oil, spices, etc.. We are also a full retreat with customized experiences by John as your Getaway Concierge while staying. John’s advice and service help to make your stay memorable.
We are a fully licensed Short Term Rental Home by the town of North Elba (license number 200406)
PLEASE no parties/loud gathering such as Bachelor/Bachelorette parties, team parties, etc. We are in the heart of Lake Placid where many families live, work and play. We must respect our neighbor's peaceful living.

Amazing house, great location, and incredible communication with the owner. Perfect environment for kids and adults. The house had EVERYTHING we needed (great kitchen, rooms, living room, game room, laundry, and close to resturants, etc). We thought it was awesome and the owner was the best! I highly recommend and would love to stay again!

Great house in the middle of Lake Placid.

We had a great stay in Lake Placid. The house was beautiful and perfectly located just a couple blocks off of main street. We enjoyed our stay. The host, John, was available and very helpful.

Fabulous stay

Wonderful visit to Lake Placid Getaway

John & Heather’s home was lovely. Photos don’t do it justice. Immaculate, well stocked and close to town! So nice to enjoy the fireplace and take in the beautiful views from the front porch. Hope to return soon!

Best Lake Placid VRBO

We decided to go away for Christmas this year and stayed at this lovely home! I was hesitant to be away for Christmas day, but found John’s home to be the perfect “home away from home” for our family! Great location, immaculate unit, and it had everything from a stocked kitchen to cozy bedrooms to make our stay perfect! My family will always remember this as one of our favorite Christmas experiences. We had fun iceskating, cross country skiing and downhill at Whiteface. We can’t wait to return!!!

Perfect peaceful and active getaway

The property is just as advertised - spacious , clean , perfectly decorated with the mountain vibe , everything you ever needed available. Communication with the owner wonderful . We can’t to visit again - this location is peaceful and very close to all of the fun activities! my husband & i stayed in this wonderful property for 1 month. john was an amazing host, even researched a vegan restaurant for us! the home was exactly as pictured, fabulously quiet neighborhood, walking distance to Main St. easy drive to all the tourist attractions. front porch was heavenly! house had absolutely everything that we needed for the entire month!!

Perfect Launching Pad

Wonderful, spacious home!

We had a terrific stay at John's place! He was very communicative before our visit and provided great recommendations for food and fun. It's a short walk down to Mirror Lake, shopping, and the sights of Lake Placid. Absolutely would recommend this wonderful home with John as your host!

Perfect Vacation Home

My friends and I frequent Lake Placid several times a year and this is the first rental that truly felt like a home away from home. It is exactly like the photos; warm, bright and inviting. John is communicable, knowledgeable about the area and was very accommodating. All around, our stay was wonderful. This is going to be our 1st pick for future stays in LP.

Beautiful House - Good Location

We had an excellent experience at this house! The house was well-maintained, providing a clean and comfortable place throughout our stay. You will want for nothing

This property is beautiful and set up to provide a relaxing, 'guest-centric' experience. The owner is incredibly responsive and accommodating- even provides cookies for guests. The pantry and kitchen are well stocked, the linens are luxurious and there is plenty of space to relax and spread out-both indoors and outdoors. A truly first rate home and experience.

Great stay

Came here for Christmas week with a toddler and grandparents/family. All was as described and the house was very well stocked. Lots of great lighting, nicely decorated. Very close walk to Main Street that involves a hill but we enjoyed it! John was frequently communicating with us. Had a nice stay.

Perfect!

We could not have asked for anything more in this rental. We were in town for a figure skating competition and the location was perfect. Having so many supplies at the house like kitchen items, linens and paper products made our trip so much easier! We would highly recommend this rental and hope to be back next year!
