"Didn’t experience the facilities but bed, shower were both very good"

"I have to be honest; I would not stay here if I was paid to do so. 1. Dishonesty by staff- upon arriving to check in past 10 pm I was given my room key and upon entering I was in the wrong room (I paid for a king suite) , as I walked towards the telephone to ring the front desk. I noticed that two of the pillows on the full-size bed had black stains on them.I notified the front desk re: stains and wrong room & they stated due to property renovations there was none available and they had to accommodate me. She never mentioned this while I was checking in.) I asked for compensation of any sort and was told to discuss that with the property manager the next day… I made peace with the inconvenience and began to settle in. Only to have her call 15 min later to say a king suite had been canceled by a guest and “if I wanted it…” after I’ve already contaminated this room and brought my germs 2. Cleanliness - if you enjoy the smell of vomit, dog food, and leftover food sitting outside of people’s rooms ALL NIGHT and on the carpet then please by all means book this property. Manager was kind and so was front desk. But the hallways were disgusting, the room wasn’t properly cleaned, and I was not accommodated appropriately for what I paid for. 3. Extremely outdated rooms, carpet, beds & bedding, as well as furniture, many broken and or scuffed up furniture."

"The property was in a very run down and unsafe area. I was not comfortable once I actually drove to the property and ended up making other arrangements. The VRBO post did not accurately show the area and the level of comfort or safety one should expect. And when we made the decision it was not safe to stay there, the host was completely unwilling to work with me to recover any of our spend. I am encouraging you think very hard about this property. There was no way to know what you were getting till you arrive, and we didn’t even go in the house as the area was not conducive to family stays, in my opinion. Houses boarded up next store and homes with overgrown yards and broken down boats on the street. Extremely disappointed with the property and the way it was handled ."
