such lovely hosts and a cute and quiet little hotel. We slept with the door open both nights and drove to Milford sound one day. So close to the lake and town. Would definitely recommend

Unfortunately the room was not ready on check in. Check in was 2pm room was not ready till 2:30pm. Room was not serviced by the time we got back from a day out. We got back at approx 2:30pm and rooms were still being cleaned on our floor. As we were tired we told the house keeping staff not to worry about our room as we didn't want to have to wait before we could relax. Insufficient parking for a hotel of this size. We had to opt for a parking lot behind the hotel, having to walk back and forth in the rain was quite annoying.
