Great location

The house is very big. Tons of bedrooms and bathrooms. Great kitchen. The host and property manager were very responsive and attentive. It was a little warm but we were warned of the cooling situation and we were there on a very hot humid week. I would recommend for a group trip. close to lots to do.

A fun family gathering

Recently, I had the opportunity to stay in this beautiful Adirondack style house with 14 of my closest family members. We had a wonderful time on this beautiful piece of property that overlooks the Hudson River, where we could swim, jump off the dock, kayak/canoe, fish, and relax around an outdoor fire pit in the evening. The house we stayed in comfortably rested everyone, and was a short distance to several small towns, including Lake George. Furthermore, the property manager was extremely accommodating, and was readily available when we had requests or questions. We had a phenomenal time and would happily stay there again someday.

Great Cabin for Large Family

My family and some friends stayed here for the weekend while attending a wedding down the street at Juniper Springs Barn. The cabin was in great condition and exactly as listed. There were lots of bedrooms for all the adults and kids and two large family rooms for relaxing space for everyone. Each night we enjoyed cocktails in the enclosed porch while the kids fell asleep. We were worried that the house would be hot in the summer but the owners provided many AC units and fans which kept the home very comfortable. For larger groups I would recommend bringing extra towels as there were not enough for all of us and extra utensils. We also couldn’t figure out how to use the dish washer so we just washed everything by hand, which was fine. There were many amenities nearby including some restaurants, a super market within 5 mins and many great family activities. We had a blast!

The refrigerator has mold, and it was warm, needs a blender, no central air, it should have two gas propane for the grill. No ice. The area was nice and patio too. beautiful access to the river.

The check in was fine, the place needs to be maintained better, toilet seat needs attention, kitchen lacked the proper amount of bowls (only had 4) center of cooktop did not work, washer or dryer, bed in master was not very comfortable (others seemed fine) a/c was surprisingly adequate, the overall condition of place was worn down and lacked any personality, screen in porch were torn.

Great weekend stay

Stayed for the weekend for a bachelor party. Beautiful old house with lots of room and a gorgeous river view. The host was very helpful and attentive. Little bit difficult to get to - almost impossible to get an Uber so you will have to call a taxi service ahead of time if you don't want to drive. Overall a great stay!
